Absolutely appalled at the way I have just been treated in this shop. Today I went to buy an electric scooter , PlayStation game and a few other item. Lady on the desk was very rude towards me. I was told for the PlayStation game I could not purchase it from her till and needed to go to a different check out . Which was fine so I went to another check out purchased the game. I then had to go back by the 1st till as my items I had payed for scooter etc was there. The same lady on the till was shouting at me with such aggression saying I need to join her check out Que . I explained I had already purchased this item at the check out she had just instructed me to go the different checkout . I showed her the recpit / ticket for proof of purchase. This lady then screamed at me again told me No I need to Que up still at her till . She then snatched the game a ticket out of my hand using force, was very aggressively towards me. I took my item that I had just purchased off the belt as she has already seen I have just paid for this item so why would I join her long Que at check again this makes no sense . The lady then started shouting at me was shouting for somebody to grab me can you imagine how insulting this is I had just spent 600€ in this shop . Then a man who is shopping there grabs me from behind using force because this lady on the till is shouting for people grab me . I was in total shock and disbelief that a big man would be putting his hands on me instructed bye a memeber of carrefour staff ! The security man came to help he was very polite and helpful he was confused why this lady on the till was even shouting at me , asking people to grab me , and asking me to Que up again when she clearly had just checked my ticket for proof of purchase. When I left the shop I then was been verbally abused bye the man who had just put his hands on me which is assault. In total shock I left this shop in tears and very distressed. I want to put a full on complaint at the store . And will be asking for cctv as this is now a police matter . I have now got home with the Segway nine bot scooter I have just purchased and there is no charger in the box. Plus the scooter has been used there is signs of wear on tyres and foot stool no plastic packaging it’s clearly a used product . The thought of coming back to store about this matter simply gives me anxiety to shop in here again. Plus I traveled 35 minutes to come to this store to purchase. So disappointed I will no accept aggressive shouting at me from a member of staff in any store then some one putting there hands on me getting fiscal this is assault . This lady should be fired for what she has done to me to today with is so disgraceful she should be ashamed of her behaviour. It was a lady on the lower electrical floor very end till to the right of the shop till number 2 the time of the incident was 12pm today 18th march 2025. It's similar to Waitrose or Ikea that the till cost is always more than you expected, but it's always good quality, there are plenty of attentive staff all over both floors who are well motivated and therefore probably adequately renumerated because of that.
There are 2 floors, downstairs and sometimes straight from the parking if you do it right; there is a floor for electrical goods, clothing, luggage, furniture, homewares. These are also not that competitively priced, for me using this Carrefour I either pay those prices or not. Quality is also good, but other retailers in that specific part of the market trade in volume and less staff overheads to get those prices for the same quality. I have found this with Carrefour worldwide, personally.
I feel their food offerings are most competitive regarding the overall market in Alicante (at the top of the alimentary sector of that market), but there is convenience and good staffing, free parking.
Definitely a good option for families, but more middle class ones or those needing convenience on a day when absolutely everywhere else is literally closed...
Read moreModifico valoracion tras pésima atención hoy por parte de Carrefour y sobretodo por la responsable de tienda. Compramos una nevera, que tenía un 15% de descuento acumulable en el cheque ahorro y una TV de 40" y pagamos un porte el día 16 de junio y programamos un porte para hoy día 28 de junio. Ayer 27 de junio nos llaman diciéndonos que no hay stock de nevera y hoy (mismo día que iban a hacer el porte) nos dicen que tampoco hay stock de la televisión que vuelvo a repetir PAGUE HACE 12 DIAS, un total de 729,90€, No me cabe en la cabeza como pagamos una cantidad de dinero, nos programan todo y 24 horas antes nos dicen que no existen ya esos productos. Vamos a ver qué solución nos dan y su única solución es que compremos una del mismo precio (no tenían stock de ninguna según ellos) o una más cara que nos hacían otro 15% de descuento (se nos quedaba la nevera casi 200€ más q la que pagamos hace dos semanas) y encima nos sueltan en la cara que nos hacen ese descuento pero que nos quitan el cheque ahorro. Le decimos que no, que lo que queremos son nuestros productos pagados desde hace dos semanas de los cuales se supone que tenían stock ya que para pasar la tarjeta y cobrarme no dudaron ni un solo segundo. No nos dan solución y encima le echan la culpa al vendedor, que lleva poco tiempo en la tienda, que de esa tele no había stock y era imposible que nos llegase... (cuando 24 horas antes nos dicen que nos llega la tele mañana ) ,pedimos hablar con algún superior, nos mandan a la responsable de tienda que menos empática y más borde no puede ser, repitiendo una y otra vez que nos devuelven el dinero, que perdemos el cheque y que son cosas que pasan, que no hay stock y no van a traer de esos productos. Vuelvo a repetirle por décima vez que no quiero el dinero que quiero lo que he pagado hace dos semanas al final se larga en mitad de la conversación y la chica de atención al cliente muy amable nos da la hoja de reclamaciones. Nos hemos ido sin nevera, sin tele, con tiempo perdido y sin ninguna solución.
Yo habré perdido tiempo pero no vuelvo a pisar un carrefour en mi vida.
OJO PARA TODOS LOS QUE COMPREIS COSAS PARA PORTE, QUE TE LA VENDEN, LA PAGAS Y LUEGO NO HAY STOCK.
