Decided to try Mrs. Miygai’s after enjoying other venture restaurants in the area. No regrets. From first entering, we were greeted by lovely staff. They were very attentive and helpful. For starters, we got the prawn toast and meat gyozas. They were lovely. One thing I will say is that the gyozas needed a little more seasoning, they are quite similar to pork gyozas from Wagamama in the UK. For the main, we got katsu curry. It was lovely! I really liked the sauce it was delicious. My partner got noodles with his and I got the rice, I was quite jealous as his noodles looked really good. We also got salt and pepper chips, they were really flavoursome! However, I do wish they were thicker cut chips rather than fries - a minor issue if I’m being picky. I can’t fault anything else though, we really enjoyed our meal here and I think it might be one of our favourite asian restaurants...
Read moreThe main thing - that i was left disappointed. Glad the waiter was able to change my korean buldogi with beef to duck. Was made clear that the meal isn't spicy at all, but the marinated carrots were, and it got in the way of the sauce, so if i could'nt handle spice at all, it would have been difficult to eat. Other thing - the so called guo bao (buns). The bun itself fell apart when i took it to eat it. What the? Sauce all over my hands.. this was as a starter and it ruined the whole experience not gonna lie. Was told that chinese cheff's here are brilliant, cannot disaggree, but the bun? Wow. Okay. Plus, it was on us to come so late in the evening (9.30pm), because the restaurant nearby played really loud music, and it felt like a competition between the two and it was...
Read moreWe enjoyed our meal here. We got the gyoza, pork bao bun, and Korean bulgogi. I think the gyoza was the best, the bulgogi was good too but the bao buns were a little dry. Cocktails are delicious. We didn’t have a reservation but they told us we would only wait 10 minutes. However there was an open table when we arrived and we still had to wait 10-15 minutes only to be sat at this same table. We sat down and was brought silverware and menus and asked if we wanted drinks. We were not ready to order yet but unfortunately then had to wait a while, 20 minutes or so, for the waiter to approach us again. However because of this the waiter took our gyoza off the bill which was very kind. Overall good service and good food for Las...
