Wakanda — Restaurant in Arona

My mum and I visited Wakanda during our holiday in Tenerife, we originally discovered it while walking towards another place when we decided to visit - so glad we did, we ended up visiting again during our holiday. Staff within Wakanda were friendly towards us. There was a youngish man who served us our first time and he was so quick with our drinks. He was professional and looked as though he enjoyed working there. The second time a woman served us, she was humorous despite being rushed off her feet.

Wakanda had such an amazing atmosphere with good music. The drinks weren’t too strong but could tell they were cocktails when drinking them. All drinks we ordered were absolutely beautifully presented.

I also enjoyed that once we received our drinks, we paid for them. This meant once we had finished our last round we could leave without having to request the bill.

Definitely worth a...

If you want to pay for your drinks 30 mins before you get them then this is the place for you. Arrived and ordered our drink, atmosphere was poor. We were then ask to pay for our drinks where we responded that we hadn’t received them. She said well that’s what we do here so paid for them. We then waited a little longer and asked the table across from us where they responded no, we haven’t paid. 15 minutes then passed and we then asked if we could get our money back where she responded that there was no way to refund us however when questioned why we are paying four out drinks in advance she responded that if there was any issue with the drinks then we could speak them. She also rolled her eyes multiple times during this conversation and gave no reason as to why we were the only ones being charged...

Recent visit to Wakanda for a few cocktails. Lovely establishment and the staff were very attentive and engaging. Live music was good also. Drinks were excellent and good value for money. A couple of things as to why I've only given 4 stars. The atmosphere was damped by whom I can only presume to be the management(sorry 1 of them,the female) her presence was very much known by customers and staff. Her authority was clearly displayed the whole time we were there (in a really bad manner)In my opinion not great leadership skills. Secondly, a couple arrived and the man hit his head on a TV causing a cut to his head, no support was given and I handed the man a few plasters to stem the bleeding. All in all, a lovely bar to drink at, minus the presence of the blonde haired manager. 5...
