The Savoy — Restaurant in Arona

This restaurant specialises in set 3 course chinese or traditional meals each of which is 10.95€. Both of the 2 menus have many options for the starter and the main cource and 5 for dessert.

Having tried and enjoyed the chinese set meal, I returned a further 4 times during my 14 day stay and had 2 more chinese meals and 2 tradaitional meals.

Quality of the food was mainly good and portion sizes were reasoable the only item I didn't like was the ribs starter as they had been deep fried to the point where a beaver would have had problems gnawing the meat from the bones. Overal though at 10.95€ the set meals were excellent value for money.

Service was very good and friendly the restaurants location was OK set back off a one way road with a nice outside seating area.

There was a couple of negative points, the prices quoted do not include the 7% tax which you will find added at the end of your bill also with tax a pint costs around 3.10€ whereas the local bars only charge 2€ to...

First of all, I must say the food is way too overpriced and not good The steak is smaller than a kid's Happy Meal burger I'm not even joking Second the drinks are so expensive like 3eruo for 350ml Fanta and 80% was just ice couldn't taste the Fanta the service is shocking the lit all the candles on all the table expect ours and yes they lit people candles after there one turned off but not ours and they took our food/drinks and we were still eating incredibly rude didn't ask just took it and the banana split the ice cream wasn't even ice it was just soup no ice just plain old ice creams soup like that one Peppa episode or something and the people had that bad vibe not good atmosphere they kept giving us dirty looks never in my life I'm I going there again worst expensive restaurant ever and hopefully this helped to avoid this place for you guys/girls don't go there I would give it a 0 star but...

Wonderful evening. I think the biggest compliment I can give a restaurant is when the food wasn't actually perfect but I still give it five stars and thanked every waiter. The price for the three course meal is of course amazing. Not every course was a bursting with flavor but the steak was really good. The biggest hit though was the service. First waiter started with a little joke which set the tone for the evening. We were 10 people and there were four waiters that served us and each one was friendly, joking and very quick. They goofed around a bit with us and my two year old son but didn't overdo it. My son (doesn't speak English) had a wonderful time. My mother who is 74 (also doesn't speak English) had a wonderful time. I had a wonderful time and so did the rest of the group. The cocktails were very good and professional.
