The place do not offer brunch menu combinations(despite providing single brunch components to order, so theoretically it can’t be defined a brunch place per se, but more a cafè). I took a tostada with eggs, avocado and “turkey”. Taste overall Good, but the turkey was literally made by two slice of ham in an ocean of avocado. Eggs well prepared. Still, For an 9 euro tostada, would advise to be more generous on the primary protein components. Also, ordered a juice. That was pretty much made by 80% cubes of ices so big for such a little glass that the residual was pretty much a 20% shame to be called a juice. When asking the waitress ,gently, if more juice could be added showing her how small quantity was left by removing the cubes, the girl become super defensive and told without even thinking to listen to the customer “that’s our standard. More of it will cost a second juice. And you probably already drink some of it”. Then without saying nothing she just came back in a harsh way, pour residual juice in the glass and added “that’s what is left” and she left. Unbelievable. If you work in the restaurant industry and this is the treatment for a customer honestly providing you a feedback, probably worth to understand that review can’t be a...
Read moreNothing special and poor service.
This is one of those places where you can eat avocado toast with scrambled eggs on top, but there is no flavor combination.
Additionally, I ordered a juice with turmeric. The juice was very good, but the amount of ice in the glass was surprisingly large. After removing the ice, it turned out that there was less than half of the juice. The portion costs over €5. I informed the waitress that I thought the amount of juice in relation to the price was disproportionate and most of the glass was filled with ice. She replied that there was probably more juice and that's how they serve drinks here and if I wanted more juice I would have to pay extra. After a while she came back with half a glass, announced that "something was left" pouring the rest into my glass and quickly left without a word. I have never encountered such an approach.
Sadly, This place is below average in terms of price to quality ratio, the taste is also nothing special. As you can see, the customer service also needs improvement. Too bad, because there is not much competition...
Read moreAs soon as you approach Ola Verde, you can feel the laid back happy vibe. The decor, music and style is incredibly welcoming.
The food and drinks are incredible! Very healthy choices, prepared how you like, so many options. Every single item I selected looked like a piece of art, and tasted fantastic. The only hard part was deciding what to order.
Ola Verde was so welcoming, I came every day of my stay in Tenerife. The waitresses joked about me having my own table, remembered after the first day that I loved my iced latte with hazelnut, and lovingly packaged up chocolate chip cookies to bring home to my loved one.
My favorite menu items included the chia pudding, the smoked salmon and avocado on sour dough bread, and the falafel. Oh and the hummus!!! All incredibly beautiful, tasty and satisfying.
I am so grateful to have found this restaurant as I felt welcomed and treated very special. Thank you my friends, I hope to...
