RESTAURANTE SUN KING — Restaurant in Arona

This was our 4th visit. All 3 other visits were great. Great food, service, atmosphere. Spent a considerable amount of money there during the daytime. Decided to have a late night 3 drinks. There were a couple of lads and my husband and myself left at the end of the night. On receiving the bill my husband (apparantly) had had 5 drinks when in fact he'd had 3 the same as myself. The owner (I presume) made out it was on camera. So be AWARE you may be ripped off him thinking you are a bit worse for wear due to the time of the night. We argued the bill and he just said 'ok', knowing full well what we'd had and once we had paid what we did genuinely owe he come running after us to offer us a free shot. Its a very busy and profitable place but obviously the owner feels that he needs to rip honest spending people off to line his pockets of even more money. We won't be visiting there again, there's plenty of other honest establishments. Just think how much others have been ripped off unbeknown. You should be ashamed of yourself. If we were in the wrong you certainly wouldn't have come running after us...

Myself and three friends all ordered cocktails. They firstly got the order wrong, but we didn't bother getting it corrected because we were happy enough with what we got given. Whilst drinking them, we found they had absolutely NO ALCOHOL in them. We were thirsty, and assumed we were given the no alcohol ones. When the bill came, we paid separately as we decided we didn't want anything else from there, because we felt ripped off. The Chinese waiter (owner?) had a go at us because he thought we weren't going to pay the €1.95 service charge! My friend paid it, but quite honestly I wouldn't have done. The service wasn't great, his attitude wasn't either, and we paid for alcoholic drinks we didn't get. We would have stayed and ordered more if we'd been happy. Also the pizzas on the table next to us looked undercooked and horrible...the people that ordered them...

Constant stream of lucky lucky guys selling watches, handbags and tat, but don't engage in conversation with them and they will leave you alone

Place been going for years, still great service. This year waitress accidentally keyed 442.36 into card machine instead of 42.36, we never noticed and keyed in our pin. Two days later called in again and waitress told us about mistake and she had keyed in another 400.00 refund to correct. Yes she had, without us spotting mistake, she had corrected it, when it would have been easy to rip people off.
