TIME TO LISTEN!!! Don't Buy at this Store!

It took me some time to write this. My partner bought me an engagement ring in this store during our vacation. We went there together and asked for a ring made of real pure gold (18K) with some diamonds. As we were flying back to our country in 2 days, the Indian seller/owner with his wife said that the ring would be available the next day. I received the ring as promised and with a certificate. But after 5 months, to my surprise, the gold color faded. I took the ring to a jeweler nearby and asked him if he could take a look at the ring and check if it was really not gold. Wiped it with a piece of cloth And voila! The ring was actually white gold and 18 carat gold plated. What a disgrace! It's not what we wanted the first time. Take a look at some of my photos and you will see how big the difference is from its original dark yellow slight orange/reddish golden color.

l wanted to return the ring and ask for a refund. But I don't have time to fly back there because I'm very busy at work. If I fly back there soon, I will ask for an explanation. ...

My wife and I like to visit Tenerife most years and when we do we always drop into SK Jewellers, where we frequently buy an item of jewellery. The quality of the settings are excellent and the stones are always of quality. I believe that the prices are good but not cheap.We have taken items of jewellery that were family heirlooms in need of repair, and in one case had a item that was of special family importance, that was disassembled and made into three items of beautiful jewellery and are regularly worn by my wife and daughter who was given two of the items in memory of her Grandmother. The sales staff are brilliant, know their stock, and we consider one of them as a good friend. Regardless of this fact all of staff remain totally committed to the customer whilst maintaining a professional manner throughout each customer visit. I wanted buy a watch, so I went to this shop. At beginning every thing was great, shop assistant was very nice. Then I told I need to think and I wanted go to another shop to see if the price was competitive. They told me that they are owner of this another shop and there were only shop who sells this watch. I told them it wasn't true, because I saw this watch in another shop.

Then this man (shop assistant) with his colleague started yelling at me and offense me.

They do everything only to sell you, even if they have to lie to you. Don't believe them especially this two guys who work there.

Of course prices are much higher than in another shop even if they give you "the best discount only if you buy now". Check price in another shop then...
