THIS IS NOT AUTOMATED…..this restaurant is AWESOME:
If you’re on the hunt for a dining experience that tickles your palate and leaves you feeling full and happy, look no further than Asador De Aranda Tibidabo! This restaurant is not just a meal but an unforgettable culinary adventure that will leave you anticipating your next visit.
From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with a warm ambiance and a staff that exuded passion and professionalism. The entire team was outstanding, ensuring every detail was attended to with care and enthusiasm.
The appetizers were a delightful prelude to the main event, with each dish crafted to perfection—think vibrant flavors and exquisite presentation. Melt in your mouth red peppers, Spanish Rice Black Pudding, chorizo, Picadillo Castellano (minced pork with spices). Everything was delicious! We could have stopped there, but…….
Let’s dive into the star of the show: the cochinillo! This succulent roast suckling pig was nothing short of a revelation. The skin crackled like a symphony, while the meat beneath was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Each bite felt like a celebration, showcasing the kitchen's mastery of traditional techniques that were simple, but nothing short of mouth watering. My taste buds were literally doing a happy dance!
And then came the dessert: a flaky puffed pastry that was the perfect finale to this culinary masterpiece. Each layer of the pastry was light and airy, melting in my mouth with every bite. It was generously filled with a rich, sweet cream that added a delightful contrast to the crispiness of the pastry. The hint of sweetness was perfectly balanced, making it an indulgent yet refreshing end to the meal.
And let’s not forget the drinks! Each selection was carefully curated, complementing the meal and elevating the entire experience, capped off with a honey and anise liqueur (Orujo y Rosquillas) that was perfect!
In a world where dining can sometimes feel routine, or you’re not sure about reviews, this is the real deal…., Asador De Aranda stands out as a beacon of culinary brilliance. It’s not just about the food; it’s about the entire experience. I left feeling not just satisfied but truly delighted, with a heart full of gratitude for the team that made it all possible.
If you haven't yet ventured to Asador De Aranda, do yourself a favor and make a reservation. Prepare to be wowed at every turn. This isn’t just dining; cheers to great food and even greater people of Asador who made the...
Read moreThe halal blogs need to stop with this place. You guys straight up need to compensate me for sending me here.
Go for the views not the food. Plan to eat before or after.
Yes the meat is halal but I learnt that almost every restaurant in Las Ramblas is. I booked this place months in advance and dressed up for my birthday thinking I’d be here for a couple of hours.
The food was really bad. Like really bad. The food came out in 10 minutes. I was surprised because we ordered meat.
The first thing we got was a green salad which we paid 6€ for. The description was basic but I thought it would be seasoned and dressed really well. It didn’t look or taste nice. See the pictures for yourself.
We got the potatoes as an appetiser but it was so bland and watery. I thought I’d choke. I think I left because of the potatoes.
The lamb chops were really small. It came on a grill which was cute. But there was no dipping sauces of mint or anything to go with it. It was plain. It tasted the best of everything though.
The “golden tapa” was just crushed tomatoes in olive oil. Very small. Very disappointing. Very bland. 4.75€
Their bread though is 10/10 as well as their pickled olives.
Also the view is lovely but don’t waste your time dressing up to go here although the pictures look fancy and the menu is a little pricier it isn’t the aesthetic of this place.
There were kids running around shouting on the floor in flip-flops.
I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. I started with a little bit of food thinking I’d order more as I ate but after those potatoes I had to leave and go to the Steak House next to La Lolita for some real meat.

Read moreThe restaurant itself has a pleasant environment. However, our experience was significantly let down by the service, primarily in two areas. Firstly, communication was a challenge. Our initial server did not speak English. While we are in Barcelona, it was surprising for a restaurant of this apparent standard not to have readily available English-speaking staff, especially when even more casual places often do. Offering an English menu seems counterintuitive if staff cannot assist with it. While we understand other staff members might speak English, the responsibility shouldn't fall on the customer to overcome the language barrier; ideally, another server should have been assigned promptly. We eventually managed to order, but it wasn't smooth. Secondly, the speed of service was exceptionally slow. We arrived at 6:30 PM and didn't finish our meal until 9:30 PM – a full three hours. We had hoped to be finished by 8:00 PM. While we understand dishes like roast suckling pig take time (which we were prepared for), the overall pace for the entire meal was unacceptable. Perhaps implementing a pre-order system for certain dishes could help manage kitchen timing and improve the guest experience. Overall, the nice setting couldn't compensate for the frustrating communication issues and the very...
