Más Que Sushi - St. Gervasi — Restaurant in Barcelona

This restaurant has become our sushi Tuesdays place recently, as we became pretty regular clients. All up until tonight when we came to have dinner after a 12 hour work shift.

I didn’t want to eat white rice and the waiter shouted at me saying that this is unacceptable and if i want sashimi I must order sashimi. We said sorry….

But this was not enough.. He came back and yelled again that he was going to charge us extra for not eating the white rice.

I understand the rules and that in “all you can eat” you can’t leave food uneaten. Fine by me. I’ve mistaken my order and thought there was no rice in this dish. This plate did not list rice in the ingredients, neither was it in the picture in the menu….

I left some rice… charge me all you want! But I’m not going to let you shout at me in the way that all tables around turned their neck to listen...

I've dined in, gotten take away, and had them deliver to my house. The buffet menu is amazing, might not be the BEST sushi but you can eat as much as you want but let me warn you, a drink is mandatory and NOT included in the menu price, but it's pretty cheap comparing to other buffet restaurants. Loved the food but the waiters, well, they are impatient, they're always in a hurry and may shout since the place does get noisy (the place does get pretty busy). If you waste too much food, you have to pay 5€ for tupperware, but if you waste around 1 or 2 dishes,...

Un restaurante de bufet a la carta para comer todo la cocina asiática que quieras o puedas

Mas que Sushi es una cadena de restauración de cocina asiática con diferentes locales en Barcelona, el Masnou y Mataró. En el caso del local de Sant Gervasi está próximo al Hospital Quirón y suele estar muy frecuentado por grupos de jóvenes en edad escolar y familias que viven por el barrio. Destaca por su amplia carta y la rapidez del servicio.

Su carta es la habitual de estos locales, donde no solo encuentras un amplia variedad de entrantes, arroces, fideos o sushi sino que también otras opciones de cocina de mercado para gustos más tradicionales.

Su precio varia según sea mediodías entre semana (más barato) o noches y fines de semana que el precio varia unos pocos euros más. En estos locales de restauración asiática la bebida no entra, pero sus precios no me parecieron muy altos. Un laborable al mediodía con una bebida y el café (sin postre) no pagas más de 20€ por persona.

En mi caso probé un arroz de la casa. Me pareció un simple arroz tres delicias con salsa japonesa y unas gambas con verduras con un toque de picante. Este último plato és el que mas disfrute. Variedad de sushi pero me limité a probar unos california rolls de salmón y aguacate correctos. Del sushi destacó el de mango con aguacate. Ese fue el que me pareció el más destacado de los que vi y probé de la carta.

Local no muy grande y un laborable al mediodía se fue llenando con bastantes grupos de amigos.
