I visited in the evening so they had only few items left and didn’t cook as per order so you get what’s available on the display. I got croquettes with chicken meat and tortilla de patatas with onion. Both of them were really really tasty.

BUT they have a big sign that says “we serve only customers”. So since it was late and I was starving, I disregarded that sign which cost me some stares from local old men and complains to the waitress for serving not local customer. The waitress clearly said that local or foreigner, we bring money to the business so I left a big tip.

The floor was full of napkins and the place is a neighbourhood pub for really locals so they don’t welcome strangers. Although the food was delicious, I wouldn’t visit this place as a foreigner.

If you still want to visit, then make sure to order and communicate in Spanish and...

We stumbled upon this lovely bar by accident on our first day in Barcelona, and it quickly became our go-to breakfast spot for the rest of our stay. The tortillas are delicious, the bread is fresh, and everything is made with quality ingredients. The coffee is always served by someone with great energy, and the atmosphere feels very local.

If you want to feel like a local one have sit and enjoy- people chit chatting, having a laughter, just a good time. Enjoy whatever you want, coffee, Estrella and you have to try the bocadillos- they’re to die for! Lovely staff, smiley and chatty with everyone! Been here twice now and definitely will be a regular guest! :)
