Bilbao Restaurante — Restaurant in Barcelona

I felt that my meal was very high priced for what I actually received.

I had an interesting and tasty starter, even though it wasn't at all what I expected. The Russian Bilbao Salad is in fact all fish. A bit more of an explanation of ingredients for this on the menu would prevent confusion in the future.

My main, however, was disappointing and, I feel, quite overpriced. I got the goat ribs. They arrived without any sauce or seasoning; just oil and fried garlic. The meat was chewy. It was accompanied by fries, which, had I known that was the accompaniment, I would have ordered something else.

The linen table cloths and vibe of the restaurant was at odds with the quality and presentation of the main.

The waiter didn't check on how my meal was at any stage; so I had no opportunity to ask for sauce or something to improve the meal, which I would have...

Prices were a bit ridiculous.

I left with a bad taste in my mouth over their bread as silly as it sounds. Not only did it taste stale, but every time I ordered bread, we were apparently given a "double" order. I didn't know this and ordered bread two more times considering the lack of carbs on the menu and then was charged for 6 orders. The amount of bread we received for "6" orders is criminal. I'm not sure if they were just taking advantage of foreignors or not.

We ordered three main dishes. Unhappy with one, but that was a mistake in ordering a dish we were unfamiliar with. Others were quite good, but portions were small given the exuberant pricing, hence our "6"...

Bueno bueno y bueno , como todo en la vida fue una casualidad sali del dentista extresadisimo ya que por fin me decidi a colocarme impantes y disponer de una nueva boca .Porque lo explico necesitaba comer bien despedirme bien de esta dentadura que me ha acompañado 64 años . Paseaba por la barriada y de pronto vi el restaurante caray me impacto el buen gusto grandes cristaleras con mucha decoracion de madera tiene un aire a restaurante frances con un cartel de bandera donde indica el año de fundacion 1954 de color verde hecho con muy buem gusto . Pense creo que aqui puedo comer bien ,en ese instante de reflexion sale dd su interior un señor mas o menos de mi edad y le pare , disculpe señor conoce el restaurante le pregunto esto porque estoy interesado en comer y me gustaria saber si es como presiento un buen restaurante con platos intensos vamos de aquellos que as de repetir y repetir ..pues si lo conozco pero no he comido aqui pero tiene muy buena reputacion de comer bien ..gracias por su ayuda y me didpuse a entrar y aqui empezo mi sueño es una delicia,un placer de ambiente poco ruido sin olores y un servicio exquisito con el que te puedes dejar llevar vamos un buen consejo de un experto es de gran ayuda . Os pongo varias fotos de lo que comi y la carta .No quiero dejarme nada porque impresiona su interior ese recogedor salon mesas bien adornadas con mantel y servilletas de ropa calidad y gusto sillas comodas y paredes decoradas con fotos cuadros con un gusto exquisito y unas vitrinas con carnes junto cocina que nada mas entrar ya os avisa aqui hay calidad ,os aconsejo reservar antes y hay cerca un buen parking con...
