Wow! Really great food! Really great restaurant. If you are in Barcelona and can't eat gluten, lactose or have other dietary requirements, please do yourself a favour and visit Gut. If you are anything like me, it will make you very happy. Gut is a restaurant specialised in gluten free and lactose-free food. And you really notice this in everything. They have allergene information on their menu (yes, they have an English menu too :D), they ask if you can have gluten and/or lactose themselves when taking your order and are very willing to think with you if you have any (other) dietary requirements. Because of this, it is also perfect if you have other dietary requirements than no gluten or lactose. For me it (unfortunately ;)) is: gluten free, lactose-free, and no garlic and onion. Even with this list, which makes it hard quite often, there were a lot of options. And the food was really, really great! Oh, and if you like deserts, they serve great deserts, for example the gluten free and lactose-free brownie is delicious. We also had a "cake of the day" which was really nice with pumpkin and...

This place is definitely for the atmosphere and not food. It's dimly lit, very romantic and intimate. Very strong emphasis placed on food allergies and intolerances because it's a gluten conscious restaurant. The menu was a bit difficult to understand because next to each item will be tons of symbols and there is an extensive legend explaining if the symbol means "contains soy, gluten-free, organic, non-GMO" etc, etc. It was full when we arrived but we were taken to a secret room around the back, behind the kitchen that had 4 tables and we had the whole place to ourselves. The waiter never forgot about us even though we were alone BUT There were dead bugs in our water pitcher My vegetable wok which is just stir fried vegetables with tofu was incredibly salty Water and bread were brought to us without asking and constantly refilled but on the receipt was a water and bread charge. When we asked about it they said it was on everyone's, like a service fee. I never been to a restaurant in Europe that had...

Love this restaurant, have eaten here 3 times now in two separate trips to Barcelona and it is always amazing. The Thai mussels are to die for and have had these every time! They are brilliant for gluten free, which for me is great as am coeliac, but their menu (which is offered in different languages) is clearly marked with gluten free (majority of the menu) gluten alternatives, containing milk/egg and vegetarian. No matter what day of the week it always seems to be busy, so would recommend booking a table (although we never have done, and been very lucky to have one spare table for two or eat at the bar). Cannot rate them highly enough, always friendly and attentive staff, but didn't feel watched even when sat eating a full meal at the bar. We seem to always get complimentary amuse bouche which are lovely, although don't know if again we have just been lucky! Try it and see...

A very lovely restaurant. It’s gluten free, though the food is so good that I believe anyone will enjoy it. I came 5 years ago, and was really happy to found out it survived Covid and is continuing servicing amazing food. All the dishes we ordered were amazing. Our favorite was the sea bass tartare, it’s very refreshing with a very nice, exotic, fruity sauce. The mushroom ravioli was great too, the coconut milk is a very nice touch to make sure it’s creamy but yummy. We are way too many bread because of the sauce. The steak is served with miso sauce, which is really nice too. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend is the vegan cake because of the texture. It collapses very easily when you try to cut the cake with fork.
