This wine bar is pretty well located when it comes to the neighbourhood of Poblenou. A wine bar of my expectation is simply to be enjoyed with good wine, good bites and good atmosphere. Which this place failed to offer, sadly due to the attitude of a staff in order to not generalise all the staff. Not to say that I felt impatience from him but I experienced disrespect when I was about to choose my wine and the whisper came saying that I was a difficult person that didn’t know on the wine selection. I believe everyone has the right to find their own liking taste and if you failed to do the job of a bartender of a vinoteca, maybe blaming the customer is not the best idea either. However, this was only the start of the discomfort afterwork drink. That all you expected was a chill environment, but it rather felt like a surveilled space with the staff impatiently taking off the dishes from the table as if there were about to close (it was 6pm). If a bar’s most valuable spirit is not provided. I wouldn’t know what’s the joy to have a drink, regardless of the...
Read moreI love a good wine bar! This one has the perfect balance of having a great selection of wines with knowledgeable staff, and a contemporary yet classic bodega feel.
Delicious nibbles too, the cheese and cured meats platter was great!
It’s not cheap but it’s worth the experience and quality. My bf and I had 2 glasses each, trying different ones each time. I even bought a whole bottle of my favourite one to take home!
There’s another wine bar in this area that always has a huge queue which totally puts me off so I’m glad to have found this one and will definitely be a regular.
Lots of indoor seating, a perching area in the entrance and tables on the street.
It was quiet when we went so not much atmosphere but if you’re going to try some delicious wines and have a catch up or date, it’s perfect!
There were a good amount of staff working and available so appears to cater to...
Read morePositives: We were very happily surprised about the food quality in this place, great wine and very nice tapas.
However, the negatives has made us not want to come back. They weren’t very welcoming when we stepped in we almost felt like we were bothering them bearing in mind the restaurant was empty. One of the waiters was very nice and smily but clearly looked overwhelmed and had to take care of all the tables because our waiter looked lost and barely came to us. When we sat down we waited 10 min for a menu and another 20 for order and probably around 35 for food (cheese platter and empanadas). They also kept serving the table next to us religiously i felt left out lol.
All in all great atmosphere and food but the...
