I know this might be a one off, but I ordered through Glovo and literally found a screw in the filling of my Gyoza… I never post reviews but since Glovo is ignoring my question for further investigation I figured to post it here. Serious health risk!!!
Edit after your response:
I am sorry to see you have retracted your original statement in which you apologised for the inconvenience. I want to press that I am not posting this review with malicious intent and I do not want anyone to lose their job. Accidents can happen, but with something as serious as this is, the least that should happen is an investigation and extra alert or checks on the food. As a company this is your responsibility since serious harm could have been done. So please have a look at the following information and see whether it needs follow up:
I have since been called by you, after which someone hung up on me whilst I was trying to voice my concerns asking for a formal investigation and follow up. After this you have promptly deleted your first response to my Google Review and added a new one. After doing some research I have become aware of the fact that there are works being done in your main kitchen building, where the gyoza filling originated from and where the screw could have ended up in my food.
Again, please have a look at this. I was lucky I was not harmed but even the thought of someone being seriously hurt by your food should be a valid concern. It is for me at least. Without proper follow up I will take my...
Read moreLOVE IT! Seriously, I cannot believe this awesome place has only been open for a few weeks and is already so great in all aspects. We are carnivores but also appreciate vegetarian food and Desoriente could make us switch sides! The food is so creative, fresh and delicious. We just snacked this time around and had 4 tapas...the oishi broccoli was AMAZING not to get geeky about broccoli but this was the best we've ever had with perfect seasoning and grill...next was the teriyaki gyozas with shitake, cabbage & ginger with a garlic chili paste. Perfect and pan fried so had a little crunchy texture. Then, the panko spring rolls that had seriously tasty crunch and such yummy FRESH fillings of mushrooms, onion and scallions. And last buy not least the wasabi croquettes, filled with potato, edamame & tamarind with an excellent wasabi mayo. All that and a great bottle of verdejo and the entire bill was less than 45 euro. We left happy and full and certain to return to try the sushi, banh mi and noodles next time! (OK, we did return and had the "chicken" gunkan roll and the sweet & spicy roll and they were outstanding!) The servers and chefs are also super nice, you have to come here!! Chef Clif may make us convert to...
Read moreBeing a big fan of the other two bars by these owners I was excited to try their third place. The starters were really nice but sadly the main dish didn’t follow suit and for me was extremely unpleasant. My friend and I both ordered the Pad Thai. It was nothing like a traditional Pad Thai but I guess that can be expected seeing as it’s not a Thai restaurant and they were putting their own vegan spin on it (I am a vegan by the way so it’s not because of this). The balance of the dish was totally off. It was far too vinegary/tart/sour. So much so I struggled with each mouth full and finally gave in and told the waiter I couldn’t finish it. The waiter was pleasant but he began to tell me I’d eaten most of it. In fact this wasn’t true. I’d actually only eaten the tofu skewer and then three mouthful of the noodles. But maybe it looked like I’d eaten a lot because the portion is small to start with. I was then charged the full amount for the dish I returned. I was given a free small vegan sinkers bar (one of their desserts) but it was covered in far too much salt and just seemed to add to the already unpleasant taste left in my mouth. (My friend also couldn’t...
