Truly a hidden gem that absolutely lives up to the hype! After doing some research and seeing it rated as one of the best bakeries in the area, I knew we had to stop by — and wow, did it deliver.

Before we even got inside (the door was literally closed at the time lol), the sweet, mouthwatering aroma of fresh baked goods filled the corner of the street. Just a few steps away, there’s a second window where you can watch the bakers work their magic in real time — a total treat on its own.

We picked up a carrot cake muffin, a chocolate brownie, a cinnamon roll, a stuffed pistachio cookie, and both vanilla and chocolate cookies — and each one was fresh, flavorful, and totally indulgent. The employee behind the counter was incredibly helpful and friendly, describing each item we were eyeing and making sure we felt confident in what we chose. The space was also super clean and inviting, which added to the entire experience.

Highly recommend for anyone craving standout sweets — a great bakery with even greater...

Chök in Barcelona is a must-visit for chocolate lovers, offering a delightful mix of innovative sweets and savory treats. The signature Chök, a doughnut-like pastry filled with rich chocolate, is a standout—perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. I highly recommend the salted caramel and pistachio varieties for a twist on the classic.

The chocolate bars are equally impressive, with unique fillings like tangy raspberry that pair beautifully with the smooth, high-quality cocoa. For those with dietary restrictions, Chök offers a great selection of gluten-free options, ensuring no one misses out on the indulgence.

The vibe is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience feel personal. While it can get crowded, especially during peak hours, the wait is well worth it. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and creativity justify it.

Whether you're craving a sweet treat or looking to explore new chocolate creations, Chök delivers a memorable...

My search for plant-based pastries led me to Chok and I was excited to try some of their offerings, especially after seeing such high reviews for their baked goods.

I can appreciate the options but everything I had was simply fine and not remarkable if I'm being completely honest.

I tried their Carrot Cake and Chocolate Muffins, each with its own creamy fillings, as well as a Chocolate Chip Cookie. The muffins were quite dry and the cookie crumbled too easily in addition to being super oily... my entire wax paper bag was drenched by the time I got home to indulge.

I was really looking forward to trying their Chocolate Cronut but they didn't have any in stock when I visited.

Overall, it was good to have the option to enjoy some vegan friendly treats, but it wasn't the home run that I was...
