Not good.
Went for a last meal during time in Barca and it really let us down. Some positive reviews so maybe don’t be put off but our personal experience was awful.
Really stroppy waitress and barman. Overly busy (not their fault) and generally not great for social distancing if that’s your thing. Noisy and cramped atmosphere overall for a night mid week off season.
Drinks were fine. Food was a disaster. I ordered a burger, the “centric” burger and it wasn’t cooked. So much so it made me feel sick and I completely lost my appetite. We had to make an embarrassing exit. Fortunately we only paid for drinks and the plate of padron peppers we did eat some of.
Overall it really spoiled a lovely day and it’s something the hosts will never understand and just think we are awkward customers.
Having never really left a negative review of anywhere they should take note and be more accurate with their tasks.
Being shouted at with “food?” Upon entering and given a French and English menu before being hurried to order should have been a red flag… Lesson: if it feels bad, it’s probably...

It’s, based on my admittedly limited experience, quintessential Barcelona.
Was beckoned in by a member of staff as my partner and I drifted off La Rambla, dazed by the force of a world class city, our first night in it, to enjoy a comfortable drink in a charming atmosphere.
Lucky us, we were joining a cruise the next day but after that, we had three more nights in Barcelona, one of the best cities in the world, and on each night we felt the need to return to Centric. Being near our hotel helped, sure, but it’s one of those finds which can act as an anchor to a place you’re falling in love with and tonight, our last night, we had food as well as drinks.
When it comes to a place to relax, this has it all.
There is something about a place when, while full, somehow there can be room. Other guests happy to do so.
Music, always good. Drinks, good pours. Food, proud to serve and all the staff, welcoming and dynamic.

Read moreBar Centric Raval is a true gem in the heart of Barcelona. The place is cozy, offering a variety of traditional dishes and drinks that will make you feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and cheerful, with the staff being incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. We tried the traditional Catalan skewers with anchovies, peppers, and olives, which were absolutely delicious. The potato tortilla was perfect, and the skewer with meat, mushrooms, and bacon, served with chimichurri and potatoes, was amazing. We also tried the cured ham, which was literally a delight! Everything was so tasty! We also had some beer and vermouth, which are absolutely worth trying. I highly recommend this place, it’s one of the best we’ve tried in Barcelona. The quality-to-price ratio is...
