Chifa Peruano Mr. Wok Aragó — Restaurant in Barcelona

I have been a few weeks ago on a business trip and I visited this restaurant for lunch. Amazing atmosphere even though it was very busy at that time of the day. The service was very good and what to say about the food? It was very tasty, and the portions were delicious and good enough. Actually, they served a big portion and I couldn't finish. They give free starters ;). The only thing I didn't like at all it was the dessert. I chose for a tiramisu, but to be honest, it was not an authentic Italian tiramisu. I would have to choose another dessert 🫣 Overall a part of the dessert I strongly suggest visiting this place. It is definitely an authentic Peruvian restaurant. 80% of the guests were originally from Peru and the closest countries, so let's say that this should be a good motive to visit this place. Had a doubt while entering but pleasantly surprised by the awesome taste ( not sure if this Peruvian or Chinese fusion ) the smoky flavor in the noodles and very well-sauted vast portions of vegetables are perfect. Another item ordered was seafood noodles, but typically, other places reduce vegetables and add seafood,d but here, the same quantity as Vegetarian noodles plus the additional seafood. Portions are big. They give extra spicy sauce extra, which may not be required as it offsets the natural flavor of food. I ordered their chocolate cake, which again is enormous, and we shared. Their pop is from Fountain but still good, and they allow one refill free, but we shared one without a refill. Not to be missed a hidden gem. ME SIENTO TIMADO, ME COBRARON EL AGUA DEL GRIFO

Saludos, no he tenido una agradable experiencia ni con la comida ni con la atención, aqui les comento... El Taypa, solo trajo 2 mini langostinos, le comenté a la camarera y me respondió que era un salteado de verduras minimizando el hecho que debía de tener variedad de carnes (mal procedimiento de atención). Por otro lado la Tortilla de verduras con pollo no tenía Sal, pero eso le puede pasar a cualquiera El Arroz chaufa no es como tal su preparación. El chaufa es wok salteado. Y el que sirven es chaufa con salsa para que pinte el arroz. No se nota el salteado. Y por último como guinda del pastel, EL AGUA DE GRIFO. en el pedido que hicimos hubo Agua, los platos fueron llegando y cada uno empezo, otro comensal abrió la botella de agua y sirvió los vasos, cuando me tocó beber me di cuenta que no era de botella envasada, sabía a agua del grifo, cogí la botella y me di cuenta que son botellas que las rellenan ellos en el local, no me pareció mal tomar agua de grifo, pero me pareció raro que en un restaurante pidas agua y te sirvan la de grifo , lo bueno fue cuando llegó la cuenta, 2.50€ de Agua G. Y aunque hice mi reclamo el camarero me dijo Que tienia que pagarlo , aunque le expliqué al chico que estaba cobrando que era agua de grifo, El me dijo que era agua filtrada y que si, sabía que era agua grifo porque la tomé. A demás me dijo que desde hace 2 años que hacen lo mismo y que los comensales lo pagan sin quejarse. En fin. Por no pasar vergüenza la pagué. Pero No sabe que desde el 29 de Julio del 2023 se aprobó en el BOE que están obligados los restaurantes a BRINDAR AGUA DE GRIFO GRATIS (NO EMBOTELLADA), aclaró que yo no supe que la botella de agua era de grifo y no me opuse a tomarla, pero a qué lo cobren. No me pareció, lo que yo me imaginé es una Botella de Agua envasada y cobrarme una botella envasada por una marca que garantiza el producto. No porque que la llenes y se te da la gana cobrarla, ...
