Chocolat-Box — Restaurant in Barcelona

I had the pleasure of visiting Chocolat-Box Gelateria last November and was truly impressed by the quality of their gelato and the generous portions they offer. As a gelato enthusiast, I'm always on the lookout for new places to satisfy my sweet cravings, and Chocolat-Box did not disappoint!

I opted for the pistachio and hazelnut flavors, and they were absolutely delicious. The gelato was creamy, smooth, and packed with an intense, authentic taste that showcased the high-quality ingredients used. The harmonious blend of the nutty pistachio and rich hazelnut flavors created an unforgettable experience for my taste buds.

What stood out to me, in addition to the incredible taste, were the generous portions provided by Chocolat-Box. It's rare to find a gelateria that doesn't skimp on serving size, and this made the experience all the more enjoyable and satisfying.

The lady that served us was ok but I didn't see her wash her hands after taking out the restroom trash. Then she came to take our order. The other people that work there, for the most part, show to have an attitude problem, specially a blonde one that worked the espresso machine. If you hate it so much, try to get a different job. The restrooms were in bad condition, one of the girls was about to start cleaning it at 10:30pm. The waffles are not good, honestly the chocolate one we had was bland and too cakey. Then the cherry on the top, one of the servers starts talking smack about another customer siting outside. They were saying how they were going to make her pay for some ice cream flavor she claimed she had not ordered. Good luck with that! Ok, I know Barcelona doesn't know how customer service works but goddamn, try to tame your ego, use your common sense. Never returning.

Service was very poor and portion of ice cream was small.

Been to other branches of Chocolate-Box and had amazing experience, particularly amazed by their generous portion of gelato. However, to my disappointment, my experience at this branch was extremely poor.

We waited several minutes for the waitress to come and serve us when there was no one in the shop. She sounded very grumpy when we requested to try a flavour or two for the gelato. And the size of the gelato was half of what we had in other branches.

Will never return and do not suggest...
