El Bierzo — Restaurant in Barcelona

I dropped by last Friday from Sants Station, needing to have a quick lunch to take another train, and it was really a good find. Menú was at a reasonable 15 eur price and there were 3-4 dishes to choose, for starter and main dish. Food tastes as home made and spanish- traditional, and my choice didn t didappoint me: Salmorejo and roosted Chicken ... it was delicious! Service is very profesional and friendly, you can tell thet had a big experience on the business!! Very attentive even if the work was big, restaurant was with plenty of People but the just kept going and working and always with a time to be there for the customer. As a result of the amount of People the atmosphere was quite noisy, but this is the least problem you can find in this case!! All in all, highly recommended place to eat well at...

Came here as it's close to our hotel and because of the good reviews online. We felt like the old servers here were talking behind our backs when we ordered the anchovy (because apparently they have to put on a show when you order this) The older guys at the bar seemed to be asking our waiter why we knew about that dish and he said to them that I showed them the photo. (He kept saying "photo") In the end, he gave us the 'show' of preparing the dish in our table. Before we left, two other local customers came and he did the same "show" but we can hear his tone was entirely different when we was doing ours - he sounded more friendly, and was even smiling. Food was great. But the attitude they have towards us tourists...

Conveniently positioned in plain sight from my balcony, regular custom so thought yes, perfect evening meal to finish off a lovely day (minus a terror attack).

Garbage.

Overpriced basic Spanish tapas, awkward portion sizes, and uncooked chicken was enough to ensure that my evening "meal" was in fact, nothing but a starter for the large Burger King meal i was already planning.

this review should really be about the convenience of placing the Burger King in plain sight of this restaraunt, which again, is garbage, in which case I would be posting 5 stars.

Waste of time, waste of money. Awfullllll staff, not friendly. Returned uncooked chicken for rubber, bland, chicken.
