Had a lunch on a Wednesday, with a reservation.
The place is very nice, on two floors and with the grill which can be seen. We had the calçotada menu, which includes toasted bread with tomato and garlic, 15 calçots per person, a main of meat or fish, a dessert and coffee - drinking included.
The bread was fresh and comes in very large slices. Calçots were hot and the serving was generous. Nice accompanying "romesco" sauce. We had "vacio" (flank steak) with potatoes and "pimento de padrón" peppers, and "entraña" (skirt steak) with salad. We had grilled artichokes. The meat was very tender and excellently cooked. The crema catalana that we had for dessert was also good.
The waiters were very welcoming and helpful. Consider making a reservation if possible.

Read moreWe had a birthday lunch here for 10 people and chose the group menu. The tapas were delicious and felt very traditional — my favorites were the croquettes and the artichokes. For the main course, I had a lovely steak served with homemade fries, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Dessert was tiramisu — not the classic Italian version, but still a nice sweet ending to the meal.
