I walked in and saw displayed something that I wanted. A type of bread with pumpkin seed. I took it and waited in line. Just when I took it the attendant saw me, looked at me with a not very pleasant expression and asked about me buying this. Or something like that. I didn’t quite understand everything she said. And then I asked for a type of bread and she rudely told me that I was asking for the wrong type of bread. It is the second time I come here and I am not well treated. An all time bakery and coffee shop favourite amongst locals and especially catalan people. Fried eggs and bacon with "pan amb tomaquet" and a delicious carrot cake are two quite nutritious and juicy options. The atmosphere is familial and relaxed. Can become quite noisy and crowded from 17h ownwards. Lots of families with kids, babies and 3 generation gatherings. Very colourful and diversified clientele but mostly locals. Large choice of different bakery products and pastries, cozy interior with a spacious sitting area and nice ambiance. Everything was delicious! There were many locals who seemed to be regulars and they were very nice to tourists. Having a particular dietary requirement, I asked the lady at the cashier who took the time to explain to me which products I can consume. Even the nice man at the order counter was very helpful.
