Fantastic! Excellent food and friendly service. Really the best restaurant I experienced in Barcelona.
From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere: the interior is stylish and cozy, with soft lighting, warm colors, and a relaxed vibe.
What really sets this restaurant apart are the dishes. Forget the usual patatas bravas and tortilla you find everywhere—here, the classic flavors are prepared in a creative and refined way. Each dish has an amazing taste. The eggplant with honey literally melted in my mouth, and the mussel croquettes were sublime in both flavor and texture. The steak tartare was of excellent quality. The canneloni tasted like heaven! And important as well: the price-quality ratio is very good.
The staff is friendly, genuinely attentive, and always available without being intrusive. You can tell they enjoy their work and are committed to making your experience special.
The terrace is located on a charming, tree-lined, low-traffic street surrounded by other inviting restaurants. Perfectly situated between Hospital Sant Pau and the Sagrada Família, it offers lovely views of both landmarks.
In short: this restaurant is an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves food with character, a warm atmosphere, and exceptional service. Here, you taste Spain the way it’s meant to be—full of passion, quality, and a touch of innovation. I’ll definitely be...

We had an incredible dinner at La Saporetta last night — a true hidden gem nestled on a peaceful car-free square between two must-visit spots in Barcelona: Sagrada Família and Hospital de Sant Pau. The location is absolutely ideal for a break from sightseeing, yet so discreet that you might walk right past it — don’t.
The menu starts strong with a selection of small dishes that go beyond the typical tapas you’ll find elsewhere in the city. Think croquettes shaped like mussels (and even tastier!), a delicate steak tartare, tuna tartare with creamy avocado, and perfectly crisp aubergine beignets. Each bite was a delightful surprise.
For mains, the cannelloni and the seafood risotto were both standouts — rich, flavorful, and truly some of the best we’ve ever had. The quality and creativity of the food is exceptional, and yet the prices remain refreshingly reasonable.
If you’re in Barcelona, do not skip this little treasure. Great atmosphere, beautifully presented dishes, and warm, friendly service. We’ll...
Read moreMy friend and I had a wonderful meal at La Saporetta Artesenal. Everything we ordered was delicious - from the eggplant drizzled with honey to the steak tartare (some of the best I had on my trip) and the mushroom risotto. We also enjoyed a glass of tinto de verano, and one of the staff kindly recommended a rosé-esque wine to close out our meal - we both loved that one.
The service was just as memorable as the food! The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Their recommendations were spot-on, and we felt truly welcomed from start to finish.
This was one of our favorite meals in Barcelona. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a thoughtful, flavorful dining...
