Gorría Restaurant — Restaurant in Barcelona

The restaurant has a great atmosphere with a historic feel, and we were excited to try it. The white beans were exceptional, but the steak, though cooked perfectly to medium rare, was slightly tough. Other dishes were good but not remarkable.

Service, while professional, felt slow and unwelcoming; it took quite a while for anyone to take our order, and there wasn't a smile in sight.

Unfortunately, two of us became very ill a few hours after the meal, likely from the foie gras, which was the only dish shared solely between us and not the rest of the table. This experience left us bedridden for two days. While food safety issues are uncommon, it seems there was an error in the handling...

Gorria is the only one restaurant in Spain that we like Chuleton. The Chuleton steak is in the sky as a level. We are bulgarians and we love that restaurant and him boss and his family. Over than 150 restaurant we have visited in Spain and like Gorria quality of food we never found. The prize of Gorria comparing between these 200 restaurant that we have visited also is cheapest. I fully recommend you all going there and eat. Congrats to familly owner and we wish him everything best in life and for last - please dont get prizes bigger!! The best traditional Basque cuisine in Barcelona. Highest level of fresh quality produce cooked like your Basque grandma would, with love and know-how. The seafood is top notch, the meat is sublime (ask for chuletón), even the vegetables are amazing, everything is cooked to perfection. The restaurant has a vast wine collection, which is fitting since it's in an underground cellar. Everything is clean, the staff attentive, quick, polite.
