I was robbed at this restaurant by one of the staff members. However, before I describe this story, I want to point out that we ate in this place every day for five days (breakfasts, lunches and dinners) because our apartment was nearby. During our visits, dishes we didn't even order were added to our bill twice, but it's a different story.

The story of the robbing happened yesterday. Me and two of my friends ate outside. Some time after leaving the premises, I realized that I had left my bag there, so I went back to this place again. When I realized that the bag was not at the table where I was sitting before, I decided to go inside the restaurant.

After asking a few questions to one of the guys working at the place, I was told they unfortunately didn't have my bag. I thought it would be a good idea to ask other customers if they had seen this bag. A very nice lady firmly stated that the bag was taken by the waitress inside the restaurant.

I decided to go back inside and ask this waitress if she had seen my bag. The waitress swore that she had not seen any bags. We were discusing about 10 minutes and I was convinced she was lying. The lady mentioned by me earlier, who saw the waitress with my bag, joined the discussion as well. The waitress lied to the both clients in the eyes, claiming that she did not take any bags.

After I threatened her with the police the bag was "magically" found. If it wasn't for the woman who saw the waitress taking my bag, I probably would never have recovered the bag, which would also have made me late for my flight home the next day (all my documents and money were in it).

As a caution to future customers, the restaurant owner may reply to this comment. He will try to manipulate the facts of the whole incident in order to come out of the event with a "clean hands", for the sake of his own business. However, I want to point out that I have only issued a few opinions at Google in my entire life, I do not like to waste time writing them, but the whole situation forced me to do so. Disappointed with the food and service. The staff was wonderful and I can understand that they were stressed (it started raining and they had to put the tables and chairs away in the terrace dining area), but it took more than 30min to get someone to take our order, and it took 40min approx to start getting food because they had issues with their system and the orders were not registered. The table beside us was also waiting at least 1h for food. This is a tapas place that offers brunch menu on Sundays. Additionally, the dish “girl on fire”, which was described as a baba ganoush, was so bad we could not even eat it. It tasted burnt and bitter, it was like the aubergines were mashed with char. I’ve had baba ganoush in Middle Eastern and Turkish restaurants, the flavours presented on this restaurant’s dish were not close to how baba gaboush is served commonly. Also serving popadoms for a dip is an interesting choice, you cannot scoop a creamy dip with that because the popadom disintegrates in the sauce, but I digress. We also had Japanese style chicken wings - which were soggy to my taste but my friend enjoyed. We really enjoyed the mushroom croquettes - those were really good and the creamy sauce was beautifully tangy and savoury. 📍Location: Just located in front of Monumental. This is a very good place for enjoying in a terrace.

😋 Taste: Food was great, tastes were also good, however portions are very small. So be ready to spend a bit of money if you’re a foodie 🐷😜

💸 Price: Well, prices are a bit high compared to places located in Plaza Catalunya for example, even places close to Sagrada Familia. So, price-quality a bit expensive, price-portion (small portions). Check prices in the tickets (photos)

✨ Service: Very good service, specially from the Argentinian guy. The rest of the employees were ok.

🏬 Interior: Great design, lot of tables, good music, that’s a 10 here. Bathrooms are clean 🧽
