Hostal Oliveta — Restaurant in Barcelona

We stayed at Hostal Oliveta and were truly impressed by our experience! From the very first moment, the service was impeccable the staff was extremely friendly and eager to help us with recommendations for food, transportation, and sightseeing.

The room was spotless, with a modern design and a warm, cozy atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent for such a central location. We had a street view, and even though we were in the heart of the city, it was quiet at night and we slept wonderfully.

The location of the hostal is ideal just a few minutes from the metro, with cafes, tapas bars, and attractions within walking distance. The building itself has a lot of character and gives you the feeling of living like a local, even if just for a while.

Additionally, there’s a lovely bar/restaurant on the ground floor that serves breakfast and tapas be sure to try the jamón toast and café con leche!

Overall, it was an excellent experience that made our trip to Barcelona even more special. We highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again on...

The location could not be better, everything you would want to do is within walking distance or you can jump on the very close Metro line. The decor is interesting in the rooms and in some areas seems a little bit shabby. This does not detract from the comfortableness of the bed, the air-con, good strength wifi and assortment of TV channels. The area that this Hostal is way above the rest is the staff, we were welcomed as if we were family and that was how it felt for our entire stay. The food is amazing too.
