KEMO — Restaurant in Barcelona

I've been eating out here before, the food was good and good service. But last time, though the service was good in general, that when we paid we even gave a tip, was treated as if being a con artist when leaving the restaurant. They ran after us, talking quite loud if we paid the bill. I was shocked and didn't know what came over me. I mean, there's nothing wrong to approach clients if you're not sure if they paid, but it's the way you do it. You could've just walked normally towards me and then asked in a civilized and respectful way if paid the bill, instead of screaming on the streets so that everyone can hear that coloured people not paying. I found that approach discrimination. However, the manager later apologized for waiters' behaviour, but the waiter in question was rude even afterwards and so was another guy ignoring me. As conclusion, not a restaurant to go back to, service is really important and waiters should behave as such. It appeared that the waiter who charged us, was new and didn't process the payment correctly in the system as being matched with the table served before he left when shift was over. Y hablando de bolsillos, déjame decirte que en KEMO no necesitas reservar con semanas de anticipación. No, aquí es más como "llegas, te sientas y te deleitas". Sin complicaciones, sin estrés, solo buena comida esperándote al otro lado de la puerta.

Ahora, hablemos de lo importante: ¡la comida! Los platos de KEMO son como pequeñas obras de arte culinarias que hacen que tu estómago cante de alegría. Desde las deliciosas gyozas de carne y verdura, pasando por los sabrosos okonomiyakis y el reconfortante ramen, hasta el tierno pato y los irresistibles fideos pad thai, cada bocado es una explosión de sabores que te transporta directamente a las calles bulliciosas de Asia.

Y no te preocupes por esperar eternidades para tu comida. El servicio en KEMO es más rápido que un cohete espacial chino. En un abrir y cerrar de ojos, tu mesa estará repleta de delicias listas para ser devoradas.

Pero lo que realmente hace que KEMO destaque es su ambiente único y original. ¿Dónde más encontrarás extintores colgando del techo para apagar el fuego de tus papilas gustativas? Y eso no es todo, porque en este lugar cada rincón está lleno de sorpresas, desde acertijos en las paredes hasta una cartilla de bingo para pedir tus platos. ¡No hay espacio para el aburrimiento aquí!

En resumen, si estás buscando un lugar donde la comida sea deliciosa, el servicio sea rápido y la diversión esté garantizada, entonces KEMO es tu destino. Prawn tempura 5/5 - fresh prawns with a light batter and an incredible sauce.

Ramen noodles - chicken katsu ontop was delicious, noodles good quality - broth 0/5. In order to save money the chef has decided to use water instead of real broth which takes away the flavour completely. The chef needs to understand that this cheapness in the broth and lack of effort is costing him 5/5 stars.

My suggestion to future customers is prawn tempera and rice (not soup noodles).
