Me and my friends had dinner here because it got recommended to us. At first the place seems anonymous and if you don’t know it you wouldn’t even notice it, inside is simple but a classic taps bar. Everyone working there was super nice, they explained us the menu and we asked for some suggestions. The food was delicious, they don’t have the classical tapas but everything was homemade with passion I could tell. They have lots of types of tortillas which I think it’s their specialty. Another detail I appreciated was the fact that they were coming to refill the bread every-time we were about to finish it. The prices are normal for some nice tapas but I would say the service can be compared to a much more...

What a gem of place. Really friendly staff, our main server spoke Catalan and enough words of English for us to choose what to eat and what to drink. We had successively: smoked sardines, tortilla, Galta de vaca (beef cheek, slow cooked in rioja - unbelievably flavourful and unctuous), two montaditos, one with goats cheese the other with smoked salmon, and patatas picantas (patatas bravas in Spanish). All were super but the galta, the smoked sardine and the patatas were stars. The to drink with the food, three great sherries, fino amontillado, dry oloroso and a white rioja...

I went to this place with my girlfriend based on a recommendation of a friend. It turned out the worst place in Blai.

The service is very bad as the the girl at the counter scream all the time and pretend she does not understand english.

The food is average but it is more expensive than other better places in Blai street .

The beer choice is limited to a very bad french beer. You can’t even find decent Spanish beer here.

They have Zot beer but they put 4 euros as a price tag. Please note that zot is mainly a cheap beer in Belgium

I would recommend...

Great place in the Poble Sec neighborhood! Super quality food, very very good price for value, super recommended! Quite a blessing that we had this tip by a local, in a street that's so full of places is great to have the chance to choose a great and authentic spanish restaurant (from pais bascos actually) and avoid tourist traps! On the bill: 86€ devided by 4, in including 8 beers, mushroom, aubergine, two big tortillas, and some more tapas including a spectacular beef cheek! 👍👍👍🍴🍻

It’s a great no frills bar where you can get in my opinion one of the best tortillas in Barcelona. We love that the inside of the tortillla is still moist and runny. Size of the tortilla can be varied according to the number of eggs used! We also loved the slow cooked pork dish served on a bed of corn.
