Gelati Dino is one of those rare places that blends authentic Italian craftsmanship with a contemporary flair, delivering a dessert experience that is as memorable as it is delicious. Whether you’re a seasoned gelato aficionado or simply someone with a sweet tooth, Dino Gelato welcomes you with open arms—and an impeccable range of flavors that clearly reflect the team’s dedication to quality, passion, and tradition.

From the moment you step inside (or approach one of their cheerful counters if they’re at a market or pop-up), there’s a certain joy in the atmosphere. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about their offerings—not in a pushy way, but with the kind of quiet confidence that comes from knowing they’re serving something special.

The range of flavors at Dino Gelato is both extensive and thoughtfully curated. Classic Italian staples like pistachio, stracciatella, and hazelnut are executed with remarkable authenticity—creamy, not overly sweet, and with depth that lingers on the palate. The pistachio, in particular, deserves a special mention: it’s nutty, slightly savory, and unmistakably natural—no artificial green hue here.

But what makes Dino Gelato really stand out is their willingness to explore seasonal and creative options. I had the pleasure of trying a roasted fig and mascarpone flavor, which was divine—fruity, rich, and balanced. Their lemon sorbet is vibrant and zesty, offering a perfect dairy-free alternative that still feels indulgent. And for the adventurous, there are occasional surprises like dark chocolate with chili or salted caramel popcorn, all made with premium ingredients and real culinary imagination.

Dino Gelato nails the elusive texture that true gelato lovers seek: silky-smooth, dense without being heavy, and served at the perfect temperature. It doesn’t melt into a puddle the moment you step outside, yet it’s soft enough to enjoy immediately without needing to wait. It’s clear that their technique is refined and consistent—hallmarks of a team that knows their craft.

Customer service at Dino Gelato is just as satisfying as the gelato itself. Staff are always ready to offer samples with a smile, explain ingredients for those with dietary concerns, and even recommend flavor pairings based on your preferences. Their attitude is warm and genuine—it feels more like you’re being hosted than merely served.

Whether served in a freshly-made waffle cone, a recyclable paper cup, or a take-home tub, Dino Gelato pays attention to presentation. Cones are crisp, cups are eco-friendly, and the gelato is scooped with care and a little flair. Even their branding—clean, simple, and charming—gives the whole experience a polished feel without losing its artisanal heart.

Another commendable aspect of Dino Gelato is their inclusivity. They offer a solid range of dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegan options, all clearly labeled and never treated as an afterthought. Whether you have specific dietary needs or just want a fruit-based sorbet, you’ll feel catered for rather than sidelined.

In a world full of copycat dessert spots and overly sweet, mass-produced ice creams, Dino Gelato is a refreshing (and delicious) standout. It’s a place where tradition meets innovation, where quality is never compromised, and where customers are genuinely appreciated. Whether you’re grabbing a quick scoop on a summer’s day or bringing home a tub to share with family (or keep all to yourself—no judgment), Dino Gelato consistently delivers joy, one...

I just argued with the owner I don't usually post review but what happened is so amazing !!! I would even not put one star ! I live just aside of this "Heladería" and go often with my family But tonight, for some reasons my Credit card didn't work out. So I explained to the young cashier that I come back with cash. Right away the owner came out of his office and yelled at me in front of customer like I was about to steal something or leave without paying. I explained with calm that I come back and maybe his machine doesn't work well. He just kept yelling at me saying : "You need to pay me 5€ and besides you took a big ice cream". Like I was supposed to know my Credit card wouldn't work out. Plus the ice cream was 4,20€ and not 5€ ! Anyway, I came back to pay and told him to keep the ice cream. I live very close and would come often but I told him I will never come back. I speak Spanish so there were no misunderstanding. I am very disappointed of the way he talked to me, very aggressive and disrespectful toward me. And when I told him so he just ignored me and went back to his office. I know people will keep coming back but let me tell you that respect is everything and there is an ice cream shop just a little bit further where owner is much more respectful and nice to people. By the way the crêpes and gauffre are even...

We came here after a late dinner for desert as it’s open until 1am when most desert joints in the vicinity are closed. We ordered 4 servings of gelato. Starting with the positives: *Late opening hours (1am close) *Great range of Italian gelato flavours *Friendly & welcoming server *Fair pricing *Choice of other deserts & drinks (although we didn’t try these)

Opportunity for improvement: *Nice gelato but not the best we’ve had. For this reason we are rating the food a 4. We feel that the product could be creamier. For example, the mint cacao gelato tasted slightly diluted or watered down rather than the creamy texture and flavour you’d expect from artisan ice cream or gelato.

Still, we’d like to score this establishment a 5 overall given all of the other positive points and our...

Do you still sell your Roquefort e Noci gelato? I ate it when I was in Barcelona in... 1998! I STILL talk about how amazing it was! Truly one of the best things I've ever eaten. I'll be visiting this year and will bring my whole family to try as many flavors as possible. Is there still a location at Passeig de Gracia, 4? I wrote it on the bottom of the brochure below. Also from 1998 :-) Adios!
