La Danesa is a welcoming Café full of locals and tourists. In the warmer months seating can be found outside and for those seeking shade you can always nestle inside. Food comes in a selection of Sandwich's, Rolls, Pastries and Cakes; so for any of those listed it's a worthy place to enjoy some food. Prices are equally good, with freshly squeezed orange juice, a brownie and a bikini (croissant with ham and cheese) being around €6.50. Make sure to take a look at the various cakes and pies, the lemon meringue pie tastes as good as it looks!

Nice Coffee Bar located well in the middle of Plaza Catalonia and Sagrada Família, close to Av. Diagonal. The Sangrias are self-made and prepared glass by glass with an absolute fair value for money, very tasty and refreshing. The variety of Gin Tonic is reasonable huge what I did not expect - the more positive I want to highlight the taste, the garnish and the absolutely fair price !

Delightful place to have a coffee, drink or a bite, in a pleasant location on the Diagonal. Excellent Danish pastries and cakes, empanadas, croissants and some pasta and rice dishes. The prices are affordable too, considering the area: a cappuccino coffee, an ice tea and a large croissant for 5.50 euros. The lady who served us was polite and friendly.

Dishonest. Ordered a salmon sandwich, small coffee and a brownie and the girl charged me just over €17 euros. Its clear that this isn’t the regular pricing and it did bug me all day that I was cheated but still stupidly went ahead and paid without any questions. It’s sad because I was telling my husband that I would like to spend at small business rather than big corporate brands but this really put me off. Learnt my lesson and will always ask for price before...

We came about an hour before closing, exhausted. The stuff made us feel very welcome, spoke a little English but nothing was a problem. Zucchini cheese quiche was very tasty.
