I highly recommend this restaurant. I instantly felt comfortable while walking in. The decorations are authentic Tibetan style alike and the waiters/ waitress had traditional Tibetan clothes. The place was clean and well maintenance. The waiter that took my food was polite and friendly. He suggested the 12 euro deal for 3 COURSE MEAL. I had a potato dish along with some chili sauce for my first course with some bread and it was delicious. It was Vegan and Vegetarian, had the best spices. Back in the states, that alone would cost $8 or more. For the second course, I had a chicken stew with rice call pingsha. It had small white noodles along with potato, veggies and chicken. Perfect for a cold day. It was again delicious! The portion was very generous and I could not finish it all. they also had vegetarian options for the second course. I had to get my third course to go which was a mango lassi. All of it for 12 euros. The quality of the food is one of the best and the workers there were so sweet and friendly. Could not recommend this...
Read moreIf you have cravings or would like to try an authentic Tibetan or Himalayan cuisine (Tibetan, Indian, Nepali), look no further than Kailash Restaurant Tibetano. During my visit to Barcelona, I was definitely craving for some authentic Himalayan cuisine. Found this cute little restaurant on google & decided to give it a shot. Being a Tibetan myself, I know a quality authentic Tibetan food when I taste one & Kailash Restaurante has far exceeded my expectations. Everything about this restaurant is just perfect— the taste, food quality, service, decor & the ambiance! Their restaurant decor is equally tasteful & authentic as the food & definitely felt nostalgic, just like back home. The prices are extremely reasonable & highly recommended. I promise you will leave this restaurant with a full belly & happy soul :) Definitely try their delicious momo (Tibetan dumplings) & Nepali style Thali...

In which other restaurants the waiter is warning you, that you are about to order too much food for 2 people, recommending to order less, and get more if you are still hungry later? It showed me they don't want to maximize their profit, they want happy costumers.

Then had a spicy vegetable soup with chicken and eggs (unlike other restaurants the spicy here really means spicy)
As a main dish i had a tallarines with chicken, was not bad but nothing extraordinary
