We had a lovely lunch the first day we arrived and never found a better restaurant through the whole week so last night we returned for some more. The cuisine is extraordinary, so many flavours in an usual dish, most dishes are Spanish with a pinch of asian taste. We had the eggplant which is an absolute shed’ovŭr, the veggie boa, the risotto, the chicken fingers, the beef ox tagliata and the salmon salad. Everything was more than tasty. Emili who served us was very kind. Other staff was friendly too. Hope to be able to return one day.

Nous marchions dans Barcelone à la recherche d’un restaurant bien noté et proche de notre trajet. Heureusement, nous avons trouvé La Fogas. Ce fut une bonne surprise, le restaurant propose beaucoup de nourriture traditionnelle, une occasion d’éduquer nos papilles. Effectivement, ce fut le cas, les patatas bravas sont une belle découverte avec cette « sauce » et le petit côté pimenté au fond du bol, c’est top Le bol de nachos était top aussi, avec des éléments que nous ne connaissions pas encore. Le guacamole proposé était peut-être un peu fade. Le plateau de houmous est aussi bon, pas ma tasse de thé, mais conviendra aux connaisseurs. Pour les plats, mes amis ont apprécié les tataki de saumon, voulant manger quelque chose de frais, ils étaient contents, mais sans plus. Pour ma part, un peu de déception sur le Burger classique, bon, mais sans plus, la tomate avait un aspect très peu naturel, mais une bonne texture et la salade est ok Il manque un peps de sauce. En revanche, les frites sont très bonnes. Les quantités sont peu être un peu faible si vous ne prenez pas d’entrée avant. D’autres amis ont opté pour les tagliatelles au parmesan fondu directement dans la meule devant vous. Ils ont très bien mangé, l’avis général est qu’il manquait peut-être une petite touche de verdure, une herbe aromatique pour rehausser les saveurs. Très satisfait de leurs plats, l’équilibre entre le parmesan et les tagliatelles avec les morceaux de viandes est super. Avis général très bon, 5 étoiles, car les autres restaurants autour n’ont pas l’air top et moins bien noté. Merci pour ce repas.

I've been to La Foga a few times already, and i keep coming back. I love eating bravas and some cochinita pibil tacos as well. The rations are pretty good and really nice to share with someone. We usually eat 2 or 3 tapas for 2 people. The service there has always been very friendly as well. Today Daniel was really helpful and friendly so thanks for that! For a cold day the inside is really nice and cozy, but if it's not too cold i recommend sitting outside, the lights really give a nice touch.

21/11/2022 We planned to go to another restaurant but passed by this one and thank god we saw it & my friends agreed to going in!!! It was the best service from Daniel and the best food we have had by far in Barcelona, perhaps it was the service and atmosphere but it was great! An awesome experience here. We ordered the red tuna, salmon, and risotto and of course the patatas bravas! All Super good! Thank you Daniel for making us feel welcome!

Una estrella solament pel pèssim servei que existeix en el restaurant. 1- Cap dels quatre cambrers que ens va entendre ens va atendre en català, llengua oficial del país. Als del costat els hi van atendre en anglès. El pitjor és que no van dir ni una paraula en català. Vam entrar perquè volíem anar a un restaurant on ens respectessin els nostres drets lingüístics. Ens van entendre si, però no és suficient i menys sent un restaurant a Catalunya amb tota la carta en català. No té cap sentit que cap cambrer no ens pugues parlar ni una simple paraula en català. Ni bona nit, ni bon profit. Per ser un restaurant més aviat car no oferiu ni això... 2- Dues cambreres anaven tan ràpid que ni es van adonar que m'havien tirat un pot de salsa que podia haver-me tacat la samarreta. Vam haver de dir-li que la salsa estava al terra i que algú podia relliscar... 3- Vam demanar patates braves i dos hamburgueses. No sabíem que anava a portar l'hamburguesa patates i vam haver de tenir a la taula dues vegades patates... Que un cambrer no et digui que porta patates l'hamburguesa és prou roin. Els cuiners són bons i van fer però una bona feina. Un 10 per ells. Els cambrers un 0. No penso tornar a aquest restaurant ja que el servei és pèssim i no parla la meva llengua, el català. Adéu.
