I saw this new Chinese restaurant in my zone. Looks very nice, modern and clean. Somehow promising and inviting. So, I went in today.
The people very friendly and attentive... Prices slightly above the average, but still okay... This even gives some expectation within this zone of many, many simple Chinese restaurants.
The plates were looking good... nice presentation of food...
BUT then... Total frustration.
I had a Cantonese duck (one of the upper price plates)... Totally disappointed. Nothing crunchy as they told me before. I asked about this when ordering. But the duck has been steamed. It also was full of bones. Plus, it had a very, very strong taste of its own. I couldn't eat... That must have been a very chintzy bird. I gave it back completely.
I also had some fried tallarines which were better... but still poor... very little ingredients... really hard to find the few pieces of meat among all the noodles. Little miserly with the food they are.
Yes... very attentive.. the waitress noticed that I didn't eat... not even touched the duck after the first bite... and she asked me why... and I explained...
For a moment, this even gave me the hope, that they discount a little from my bill or offer me at least an ice or a coffee or something else for compensation... but nothing as a smile. So I paid and went out.
Seems, they are just cooking for business... not with love! Is also a very touristic zone... So, for sure, they do not imagine that I could be a recurring customer.
Sorry... Maybe this was an "accident" as I see all the other good reviews here... But I will not repeat within...
Read moreVery poor service and food quality. The serving staff did not know how many dim sum's in a serving. The sizzling chicken was not sizzling and felt as if it was boiled. Both the dishes contained pieces of bones and cartilage. The shrimp fried was served just warm and by itself instead of with the sizzling chicken as the main course. We had to get up and get the chili sauce and napkin's as they were taking too long to attend. Very noisy place. All in all a very disappointing experience . I would rate it zero stars if permitted.

Dear customer, our chicken dish is authentic Chinese food, so it is normal that it has bones, if you like chicken without bones and to your liking, we believe that fast food such as kfc mcdonalds nuggets is a good option for you.
14/10/2022.I just saw your reply this morning. I wasn't looking for a KFC or MacDonald style fried chicken in your restaurant when I ordered chicken dim sum and sizzling chicken. Both the items are served technically off the bone and cartilage and are not expected to be served with bones and cartilage. Please tell me where in China is dim sum served with bones? Please do not cover up your negligence in cutting and cleaning the chicken by saying these dishes come with bones and cartilage. Instead of acknowledging the mistakes by your kitchen staff you are suggesting I go to KFC and...
Read moreWe came here for dinner tonight and we are EXTREMELY disappointed with the quality of food. To explain in detail, here's out to experience along with pictures and videos
We ordered Pork Wantons: Kindly look at the picture and notice how bad the quality is. The meat portion in the wanton is so tiny and there was barely anything in there. The rest was fried batter
We ordered for Chicken Spring Rolls: Kindly take a close look at the rolls. The rolls were SOAKED in oil and smelled of stale oil which has been used over and over for days. We couldn't even eat it. We tried dabbing out the oil with a paper napkin but because the rolls were soaked in oil so much, it started to break
We ordered Chicken Casserole with Chicken fried rice: Kindly have a look at the dish. It was literally boiled chicken in water with loads of half cooked onions.
Dear Management, is this how you serve your customers? This is extremely disappointing!!
I don't recommend this restaurant as we are really upset with the food quality....
