Barcelona Academy of Art — Attraction in Barcelona

I’ve been at the academy for almost 2 years now. The programs offered are rigorous and demand a lot of commitment, but they do provide a very solid foundation in drawing and painting and give you the tools you need to pursue an art career. It’s great to have critiques from a number of different teachers as you can take something from all of them. Barcelona is a great city and the mix of ages and nationalities is another wonderful part of the environment of the school. I can say Barcelona Academy of Art marks a massive leap in the quality of art education and atelier training. I am truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to study with so many amazing teachers and inspirational artists who push you beyond your abilities and provide not only the skills of the old masters but the tools and opportunities to thrive in a contemporary art environment. It is a really humbling experience to study with artist of different ages from so many different cultures and countries under one roof. It not only made me a better artist but a better person.

I graduated from the academy recently and can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. I made many great friends in the teachers and the students.. The education was the best on offer with teachers with a great amount of knowledge in different areas. They helped me to complete my studies by giving scholarships and gave me teaching experience so that I have been able to find teaching jobs elsewhere. They are creating a great environment for upcoming artists. It is a very challenging school but you will leave a better person. I couldn't...
