Chifa Peruà Mr. Wok — Restaurant in Barcelona

This is the best real Peruvian culinary experience you can get in Barcelona some 10.000 miles away from South America, which is a high point. There are no significant differences between the 'chifa' fare you get in Peru and what I've had in the past two days in a row, and the nice taste goes hand in hand with their helpful staff and reasonable pricing. Even the desserts — I've tried a few, sorry — were all spot on.

Dishes are a tad stripped down in the €12 menu list as opposed to the €14 and a-la-carte sections, but my party and I found it 100% understandable. It has to be noted that most of us were Peruvian hence we know what to put up with and what not, but non-Peruvians can expect top quality and generous servings.

I've read on the reviews though that they don't encourage the local idiosyncrasy of splitting restaurant bills, which is off-putting for customers — I normally see POS that split payments evenly and unevenly here so if we can do it in London it is safe to assume they can do it in...

Como latino que soy cuando pienso en chifa me vienen a la cabeza muchos muchos recuerdos!!! En esta ocasión nuestra reseña se basara sobre un chifa peruano en bcn!!!! No es la primera vez que visito este establecimiento, la primera vez k lo visite fue con un amigo y pense BUENAAZOOOOO!!!! El local en si en su dia cuando lo visite por primera vez parecia ser un local tipico de comida española!!!! Apenas le habia hecho retoques, por no decir absolutamente nada… pero no juzgues a un libro por su portada… el encanto estaba en su interior. Tanto fue asi k tuve k repetir acompañado de amigos y quedaron encantados y luego esos amigos repitieron con amigos dandome las gracias x la recomendacionn… basicamente en eso se basa la hosteleria DEL BOCA A BOCA!!! Pero pa k ocurra esto necesita en algo deleitar al cliente… y en este caso su sazon no defrauda!!! La comida en si tiene es toke chifero, el ahumado del wok se siente en sus arroces y los sabores de sus otros platos tiene ese toke chino y criollo a la vez!!! Linda combinacion nos ha regalado esta pais llamado PERU que a dia de hoy lleva su gastronomia alrededor del mundo y la han considerado una de las mejores en el mundo, por la mezcla de sabores y culturas k demuestran en cada bocado!!! Cabe destacar k en mr wok el saborrr no defrauda y las cantidades son optimas para salir con la BARRIGA LLENA Y EL CORAZON CONTENTO!!!!! La unica pega que le podria poner a Mr Wok y ya no es culpa de ellos, es k es una pena que su cocina no sea abierta y poder ver el espectaculo del maestro chifero dominando su wok y luchando contra las llamas de esa cocina, creo que eso seria un espectaculo visual para los clientes…. Pero bueno m alegro que les vaya bien porque a dia de hoy se k tienen otra sucursal en otra ubicacion y eso quiere decir que lo estan haciendo muy bien!!!! Asi que mucha suerte amigos...

From my delivery at Uber eats 20’ ago.The food was terrible; the arroz chaufa which is supposed to be rich and tasteful barely had onions and was very poor regarding to meat and other ingredients. The wan tan frito came in a plastic bag without sauce and a tiny meat filling; like mere oily fried crackers with no tamarindo sauce, a must when it comes to Peruvian Chinese food. So Overpriced and really bad quality. Shame to call themselves...
