Las Fernández — Restaurant in Barcelona

The meaty salad wrapped in proscuitto-like meat and the con were really good, worth the money. I had the pasta, which was good, can't fault it, but quite basic and felt like just a boughtout meal. Nothing screaming '"this is so goooood" about it. Two of us had the cochinillo, which is nothing like what we expected. While good, or I'd say "correct" it was not mind blowing, it felt a bit small for what you imagined it would be, and overpriced. It just feels like it should be different, for that price. The service was very good, and it was a good experience, but feels...

We came for the Ravalada and they treated us from the beginning in an annoyed way, plus despite we were at the cashier to pay the bill, they made several comments about not being ''smart'' and not going away without paying (?) . Considering that all the customers were there for this event and no one wouldn't have even think about doing such a gesture, if you get stressed out hosting these events, don't do it or learn to interact with the public. A pity because the bar is very nice, maybe it should change...

You simply can not go wrong with Las Fernandez. It is not your typical tapas restaurant, which there are plenty of in Barcelona. This is a place to go and try some new interesting tastes, very well presented by the chef and the very friendly and attentive staff in a cool setting with great ambiance. The duck burrito is brilliant and we recommend you try some of the specials that vary every day. Also, it’s a great place for celebrations...
