Madame Jasmine — Restaurant in Barcelona

We are two tourists and we went there on recommendation from locals. They didn't know we spoke spanish, because we talked in german. They spoke badly behind our backs and treated us like the worst people. Worst service I had so far. I wanted to love this place because as a queer member of the LGBTiQ* we should. But it's just the contary: exclusion, arrogance and shittalk behind your back. I think we suffered enough from that already, even worse it happened in a queer bar....

Incredible interior - evocative of Almodovar’s movies back in the day. The staff were kind and helpful, they were also incredibly welcoming. This bar accepts everyone - no matter which letter you ascribe to - LGBTQ - it’s also extremely Trans friendly so if you’re looking for this then this place is the place to be. The music was really cool and there are so many amazing touches to the decor - it’s varied and fascinating. A proper old school LGBTQ bar in the center...

I came to this place because I was curious about bad reviews. I work in customer service myself and thought the staff must be really cool if they don't care about anyone. This is probably the dream of everyone who works with clients. My surprise was big - the service is great, but it's also very nice 😊 I felt great and safe. Thanks 😉
