100 Montaditos Tapas Raval — Restaurant in Barcelona

We were sitting here drinking beer with some snacks when a woman with a baby and a friend entered and sat next to us. As the beer and snack bar is not a place for a child, it immediately started crying on the top of the lungs. The woman did nothing about it, just tried to calm the child down several times, but for sure it didn’t help. All clients has to leave the main hall, we found a place in the second smaller dining zone, where there was a lid music playing, but we could still hear a child screaming as loud as possible. Other clients just left. Nobody did nothing about it, although it was obvious not ok. A bar is not a place for a child, and child abuse and the abuse of all people around is not ok, and the staff had to do...

• Excellent * We found this place on our 2nd evening of a short stay in Barcelona and visited every evening thereafter. Food is a tapas style but good and very reasonably priced. Local beer which tastes great is cheap at €2 a pint, with shots of whiskey, rum etc from €3, making this an excellent choice for a great evening out, that won't break the bank. All of the staff are lovely but a special mention must be given to Younes, who made our visits worthwhile. A lovely young man who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I have been going here from time to time and its just a very cozy restaurant that offers very cheap and tasty food. The portions aren't big but this is a modern tapas-restaurant and its a popular place amongst expats and tourists. Every Wednesday and sunday they offer a huge variety of sandwiches for only -1- euros. If you ever find yourself peckish or just want to enjoy a sweet beer in the middle of the rambla, this restaurant is perfect. Its location is ideal and they make good use of that space.
