I really liked this place at first but the behavior of one of the employees left such a bad taste in my mouth that it undid anything: In the middle my eating, the employee approached me and told me to close my laptop because it's after a certain hour in the day. I explained to them that this was not written anywhere and had I known in advance I would not have ordered food there because I had a project deadline in a few hours. They charged me for the food I had already eaten and I had to leave. I'm not familiar with Spanish culture but as an American, I found it very unusual (mind you this is in a highly-touristic part of the city) to be told what the things are and are not that I'm allowed to do while eating my dinner.

The employee refused to give me their name for further communications regarding this matter (which I also found slightly unusual). They looked around 40yo and had a half-grey, half-black beard, and on the taller side. The rest of the staff were nice and courteous.

This cafe caught my attention as I walked past. Aesthetically it looks really nice and it’s well designed. Unfortunately that’s as far as it goes. I ordered the poached eggs and pork belly. I thought it sounded like an interesting combo. Unfortunately it was a very dry bagel with some pork belly slapped on top and an egg. Even with the egg yolk, it was still very dry. The pork belly was quite tasty but didn’t go together and was difficult to eat. I also ordered a matcha latte and I have no idea what the drink was that arrived. Frothy milk and some green slime at the bottom of the cup.

The staff were not friendly and just about engaged me enough to take my order. Maybe a great place to come and work and grab a coffee but I wouldn’t come back...

The group experience was perfect! We had a small space in the back which was beautifully designed, with great atmosphere, lights & decoration. Very initimate but still with connection to the beautiful restaurant 🫶🏼 The food menu was super good, apetizers non stop to our table and I love that you could choose your main dish. These were also really tasty and together with the wine, super 👌🏼 One tip I would give is to offer some salad with the milanese, salmon or even in general with the main course and perhaps do a bit smaller portions if you have a full menu 🤗 The service: good!
