We went here on Valentine's as tourists from Ireland. Called & immediately knew the atmosphere would be good as the staff were so friendly. When we got there this was re-established by the wonderful staff. Especially our waiter Juan Carlos. He was so accommodating when I ordered in Spanish & helped me with my pronunciations. Funny & professional. We got a selection of tapas: Ración de pan con aliol, Patatas bravas, Tempura de calabacin con salsa de yogur, Croquetas de jamón ibérico, Tiras de pollo crujiente con salsa de mostaza y miel, Olivas. (Bread portion with alioli, Fried Potatoes with spicy mayonnaise, Zucchini Tempura with yogurt sauce, Iberian Ham Croquettes, Crispy Chicken with mustard and honey sauce, Olives). All the food was really delicious. Especially the tempura courgette and ham croquettes. We got 6 plates & it was a good amount We had 2 glasses of Sangría de vino (Red wine Sangria) each & it was absolutely gorgeous. Then a glass of house red each. We finished by sharing a Crema catalana (Catalan Cream) & it was divine. Kind of like a Crème Brûlée & Pastel de nata. Was so delicious all round. Price was appropriate...

The „crispy goat cheese“ was straight from the freezer and tasted very bland. The sauce was also ready bought and way too sweet.
The „patatas bravas“ were soggy, old potatoes with a very spicy sauce and plain mayo — we ate at many tapas bars and these patatas bravas were by far the worst due to the bad quality potatoes.
The „scrambled eggs with chorizo and fries“ were the biggest dissapointment. The fries were mixed with the wet egg and were completely soggy and tasteless. The bits of chorizo were good - but that couldn‘t save this disaster of a dish.
The service was okay, altough we had to ask twice for the bill. The interior was cool, old style Barcelona vibes!

Read moreMy mom and I stopped here twice while were in Barcelona in November. It was just down the street so it was really convienient, but we also loved the food and service. Our first night we stopped because we'd just gotten to town and needed somewhere fast and easy to eat. We got a table on the patio and had an amazing meal. The service was wonderful and our waiter even laughed it off when my mom kept saying Merci. We stopped again a few days later when we wanted a drink and some snacks before we had a late dinner. Each time we sat outside and our service was great. My mom liked the lighter sangria more than the red, and the crispy chicken with honey and mustard sauce was a highlight for me. We'll absolutely be back when we make it back...
