Absolutely terrible place nightmare disaster i don't know what to say. We was seating at the bar Bartender was preparing deserts behind the bar touching everything with hands food was dropping , making ice cream with hands and when ice cream goes over the plate he was liking it and his fingers also. We was waiting 10 min someone to see us after that i said to1 of the waiters that we will set on the bar. After 20 min no one come to serve us and i went to find a waiter for us . 1 guy who obviously was rushing to finish with our order was speaking little bit of English very enough to order and speak with us. We order 1 mineral water and 1 glass of wine for drinks 1 octopus and squid for starter 1 paella for main. We have to wait 30 min to bring our drinks. When the waiter saw us that we are waiting he bring our drinks and our starters together, food was barely cold we eat a little bit , after we call him to come and clean the table i order 1 bottle of water who i received at the end of the night. We waited another 30 min approximately for our paella and when lady who looks like supervisor delivered our food was absolutely rubbish at the same time we did not have any cutlery no plates no nothing, we waited like 15 min someone to bring us cutlery and plates and the same lady pass around us like 20 times. When the waiter bring some cutlery we said that the food i very cold and was bring it cold from this waitress . He was talking Spanish most of the time like he is angry i case he was speaking English at the beginning he took the paella and after 15 min bring the same paella little bit worm bud even more worst very dry rise burn clamps burn mussels burn prawn. I have some rise us much as we can eat and i ask for the bill total amount was 41.80€ i gave it him 50€ he refund me 5.80€ and on my way out i count the money and i have to return to ask what the hell is going on with this people.Another waiter count the bill and refund me the right amount. No apologise no nothing. Me and my girl saw at least 10 different tables how complain for different reasons. 1 person next to us wait 1 hour and more for paella he was joking that he will go...

A great establishment located a few steps away from Casa Mila. It's hard to find by name because it says it's a place for paella - La paelliaria. You enter a nicely furnished restaurant, with fresh fish on display. The service is attentive, but we had a hard time communicating in English. We ordered Calamari in Galician style, but at the same moment I saw Andalusian style ones and asked them to change them, the arch waiter agreed, and in the end they brought both. These in Gaelic looked like pig's ears... boiled and sprinkled with spicy red pepper, on boiled potatoes - the taste gets used to them. Andalusian-style squid - the tastiest in all of Barcelona. Since I asked for an opinion on the paella, I asked the waiter if we only had the calamari as an order so that he wouldn't bring the paella for two, and he realized with a look of wonder that I was asking if that was all we could eat, then he hurried to reassure us that no problem. Given the approaching Christmas holidays, the restaurant was beautifully and creatively decorated. It was definitely an...

Cucarachas!!!!!!

Wow, this was definitely the worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant in Barcelona, starting with being greeted by an annoyed waiter. Who was annoyed and decided to stop attending us when he didn’t get our order right and traded tables afterwards.

We let that go although it made it super uncomfortable. A little before leaving, I felt something crawling up my foot...YES, UP MY foot!!! After already chowing down, I realized floor trim was INFESTED with roaches, I called the waiter over in disgust and kindly and privately said please look down, you know what he said? “ what are we going to do they are already there”

We paid 170 euros and in the process had the entire staff stare at us as if we were crazy or didn’t want to pay. This was certainly not the case, if i could give this restaurant 0 stars I would.

This is not only disgusting but a health hazard this isn’t an experience anyone needs to have when traveling.

I don’t know about the laws in Spain concerning inspection but this definitely needs to...

Came here for lunch when my husband and I were on holiday. The place is small and the decorations inside are what you’d see at a typical paella restaurant. What’s cool is they have a window where you can watch the chefs cook up delicious paellas! We chose to sit outside on a nice sunny day. If you want to be seated outside make sure you come early because tables are usually occupied and we had to wait a bit for ours. Staff was super friendly and inviting so that’s always a plus. We ordered a seafood paella as well as a a variety of tapas. The tapas were calamari with a garlic aioli, stuffed muscles, pan con tomato, and a special patatas bravas dish. The tapas were all amazing and I’d get them again in a heartbeat. As for the paella the seafood was completely over cooked and the rice was a bit mushy. Overall I would come here again but only for the tapas. There’s so much better paella’s in the neighborhood so there’s no need to settle.

I’ll start by saying we went to the wrong restaurant. There’s another paella spot next to it that we planned to go to based on reviews. After our experience and reading the reviews for the place we actually went to, I would not recommend. Our waitress was fine when it came to ordering and delivering the food, but she seems so disinterested and never checked in despite us being one of the few people in the restaurant. The food, as you can see was burnt and not what I hoped for. The sangria was fine, although I spent most of the meal shooing a fruit fly that eventually ended up in my glass. Not necessarily the restaurant’s fault but didn’t help. The other reviews show the restaurant responding saying they’re addressing these issues but that clearly isn’t happening. Try the paella place next door.
