I recently had the misfortune of visiting Mazah, a restaurant that claims to offer a delightful dining experience. Unfortunately, my visit turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare, thanks to the abysmal waiter service that left me utterly disappointed and frustrated.
From the moment I stepped foot inside Mazah,It seemed as though they had no interest in providing even the most basic level of customer service. The waiters were inattentive, constantly engrossed in their own conversations, and seemed more interested in acting busy with other “customers” rather than attending to the needs of ours.
As I sat down at my table, I was hopeful that things would improve, but alas, they only went from bad to worse. It took an eternity for a waiter to finally acknowledge my presence and take my order.
Throughout my meal, I observed similar scenes of dissatisfaction from other patrons. Tables were left uncleared for extended periods, and numerous customers had to seek out waitstaff themselves in order to get any attention. The overall atmosphere was one of chaos and disregard for customer experience.
In conclusion, Mazah is a restaurant that should be avoided at all costs. The appalling waiter service, combined with disregard for customer satisfaction, makes it a regrettable dining destination. Save your time, money, and taste buds by choosing a different restaurant that values its customers and provides a pleasant dining experience. In my particular and professional opinion it’s best if you...
Read moreI had high hopes for this place being a big fan of Lebanese food. The interior was nice and decor is great different from most restraunts in Barcelona.
They have a ipad for a menu which is cool but a bit difficult for 2 people to share. The food in the pictures of the menu is definitely not the same size and quality as the food they serve.
I ordered the special dish which was nice but i was disappointed with the lack of flavours, 10 out of 10 for presentation but the taste was very bland. Definitely overpriced for what it is!
We wanted to order the mixed grill but at 50 euros for 2 people it was far to expensive!
What made the experience of this place very weird was that the manager of the restraunt had chosen to set up his office next to the kitchen and was furiously smashing away on the keyboard of his laptop whilst we were eating. He even started to discipline one of his staff in what looked like a 1-2-1 meeting. I could not hear exactly what was being said but the body language said it all he was very angry and the way he was acting in front of the whole restraunt was embarrassing.
So in summary the ambiance is great, good for groups or somewhere a bit classy. If you want good Lebanese food go to a place called IAKNI which is close by and much better value, better tasting food and service...
Read moreYou broke my heart, as traveler I’ve been in love with the Lebanese cuisine for years after visiting Beirut. The Kebbe’s(fried meatball), Fatoush(bread salade) and Mutabbel(eggplant dip). Not to mention the thousand other dishes that the country of Lebanon has introduced to my taste pallet. But at Mazah they have introduced me to cold meat from the grill. It’s quite weird seeing a smoking bbq in the kitchen but still have cold meat on my plate. The irony was that the mixed grill was presented on a mini bbq (that wasn’t lit). I can’t comment on the other part of my order because it never arrived. Mazah is visually attractive, the Fairuz, Lebanon and historical murals. But at the end of the day it’s a overpriced, low quality and no love kitchen. Thankfully we had a great and love filled lunch at Billy Brunch and garden. So Mazah… take a note and be better. I’ll be sitting in another restaurant and hoping you’ll do better for the next Lebanese food lovers...
