The Qualifying of the horchata is sub par. A good horchata will cool you down from inside out instantly. Their farton was a joke. There are better horchatería in Barcelon such as Verdu on c/ Mallorca and Bruc. The service was rude and discriminating towards certain ethnicity. i was attending an event with a group of people. The female attendant insisted that i order something before i can pass to the seating area. I explained to her i just want to check on the other members first, she didn’t bother and yelled at me to stay in the line. Made a trip across the city just for good orxata/horchata and it was worth it! So good. It's served by the ladleful into short or tall glasses (go large, you won't regret it!) or into to-go bottles. If I was local I would have one in the fridge at all times; quite a few people dived in while I was there and gulped down a glass while their take out was being filled. The old lady was very racist and rude towards Asian customers. We were selecting flavors, a younger staff was not very good at English. It turned out the old lady could speak English very well but she would not serve us. She told another customer (caucasian, of course) to cut the line and order before us, served him well with fluent English, then let another staff took over to serve us.
