After reading reviews online, me and my husband decided to try this raved about halal burger joint. Unfortunately we were left disappointed. My husband ordered the plain chicken burger, the bun it came in was twice the size of the chicken fillets, it lacked taste and flavour. I ordered the breaded chicken burger- my burger was WORSE! It was rock hard and super thin. The chicken was far from fresh! It looked like it had either been sat in the kitchen for a couple of days, or it had been fried multiple times. You would expect the inside of the chicken to be nice and white, but their chicken was yellow in colour. I couldn’t stomach eating the whole burger- I left more than half of it uneaten. As the reviews have mentioned, the burgers do not come with sides, my husband ordered normal French fries- nothing special, standard. I ordered the wild beef potatoes. The tasted horrendous! Again, it was FAAAAR from fresh! Had been fried multiple times, you could taste the oil, which the potatoes had absorbed. Also, the restaurant is NOT clean at all! Dirty plates were left on top of tables and top of till counter, which really puts you off eating. The toilet facilities were unclean, there was no toilet paper in my toilet. The only nice thing I can say about the place is that the chutney sauce that came with the wild beef potatoes was tasty. If you’re from London, you will be left hugely disappointed!!! Does not compare to burgers you get from London. £1.50 chicken shop burgers taste MILES better! Save yourself from disappointment and don’t bother eating here. Worst burger we...
Read moreIt's been over a year since we went to this place and I swear, we still think of the burgers from here and how good they were!
So I thought I'd better show the place some appreciation and write a review, seeing as I physically can't go back at the moment, with covid restrictions.
So, when I read reviews of this place, saying it had the best burgers, I thought whatever, people are exaggerating etc.
Let me tell you now. They were not!
By chance, we wanted some late night food and the original place we wanted to go to was close, so we decided to try Wild Beef out.
Now you walk up to the place and it looks like a takeaway, so again, I was very doubtful about the reviews I had read, but we continued and all ordered three burger meals.
First of all, the service was great! Staff were very friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier.
When our meals came, let me just say, the portion sizes were huge! Way bigger than what we were expecting.
Now, the food... That first bite of the burger....I swear, I'm still thinking about it now and waiting for Covid rules to ease so I can go back to Barcelona, just so I can have food from this place again!
The food was perfection.
The meat was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, I just can't say enough about it. The burger had a perfect amount of everything. Even the chips were good!
Basically, if you see this place, definitely go! You will...
Read moreI honestly regret stepping foot in this place. From the moment I walked in, something felt off, and I should have trusted my instincts. The burger was one of the worst I’ve ever had. The bread was old and stale, like it had been sitting out for days. The chicken? Paper-thin, dry, and completely tasteless—barely even qualifies as meat. It felt like they just threw whatever they had left in the kitchen onto a bun and called it a meal.
To make things worse, I ended up getting food poisoning after eating here. I spent the entire night feeling awful, and I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone. Clearly, hygiene and food quality are not priorities for this place.
On top of the disgusting food, the atmosphere was just uncomfortable. One of the workers kept staring at me the whole time, making me feel uneasy. I don’t know if they were judging me, being rude, or just weird, but it made the whole experience even worse.
If you’re thinking of trying this place, don’t. Save your money, your stomach, and your dignity—go literally anywhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my...
