I visited this tapas bar after a long and exhausting day, having just taken a board exam at an international conference. I was completely drained, struggling to express myself as I stumbled between English and very basic Spanish. The staff was exceptional—they went above and beyond to help me, patiently explaining dishes I wasn’t familiar with and offering tips about local sights. Their kindness and warmth made me feel genuinely welcomed.
Being absolutely famished, I tried a variety of dishes, including vegetables, cheeses, meats, and fish. Tasted a bit of grit in the sauce but portion was fine given it was cockles. The anchovy, olive, pickled mussels on top of potato chips was ok. I think the chips were pre-packaged.
