Terrible food and terribly overpriced! We didn’t finish a single plate. We have been travelling around Europe for a month and it was the worst meal of our entire trip!

It is a huge tourist trap because of its location near the water. 5 tapas and 1 cocktail for 92 euros was money wasted. We have had much better food elsewhere in Barcelona for much better prices!

The “crispy chicken” was cheap frozen fried nuggets that you buy for kids from the supermarket. Dry and bland. They came out in 1 minute so had probably been lying around the kitchen for a while.

The nachos were the worst I’ve ever had! They didn’t even use real cheese - it was a nasty cheese flavoured sauce and it tasted so artificial that I could not stomach it.

The ceviche tasted sour and not refined or balanced at all. The fish was chewy. It came with what tasted like boiled pumpkin dunked in sour citrus juice.

The tuna tataki was bland.

You can tell by the robotic copied and pasted responses from the owner on these comments that they don’t care or make changes to feedback at all.

Be aware that they also charge a very sneaky 10% surcharge on top of the menu price simply for sitting in the terrace (which is 90% of the tables). The staff don’t mention this at all - it’s in tiny fine print.

Avoid this place if you...

My review is purely basis the bad customer service provided by one employee who works there, I don't have any complains regarding the vibe/food of the restaurant. This guy was extremely unwelcoming towards us since the moment we walked in. He even asked us to be seated at the table right next to the entrance of the restaurant when the whole place was practically empty, he could have offered us a better seat, not like anything was reserved. Anyway, we eventually asked him that we'd like to seat at a better table and he just shrugged his shoulders as if he didn't care. Moreover while leaving, I went up to the counter to pay our bill so we can leave and not wait around the table for the server to notice us. This guy at that moment was bar tending, looked at me and said "what to you want? " That's no way to talk to your guest! I replied I'd like to pay my bill, and this person went ahead and said I'm not here to do that job, go back to your table. The total lack of courtesy and his extremely rude tone just put me off! We've had such hospitable and courteous staff interaction throughout our trip in Barcelona and this happened to us on the very last day. I genuinely hope the management will take notice of such unruly behavior and work towards...

It was in April. First time in Barcelona, we walked and decide to sit in what seemed to be a well-located and cozy restaurant. It started raining heavily outside. So if you ever decide to go there, avoid to sit along the opened space, as rains comes in. Let's say this can happen. We moved a little. We ordered and then starts the fun. Dishes were not coming altogether (I am speaking here about 15 minutes between the first and last dish..). It was crowdy day, plenty of people, so I am on holidays and kind of chill. However, everyone's patience has limits. Whereas I have full understanding of the existing stress when there are many clients, I am also not responsible of the situation so don't act towards me as I am guilty of something. Waiters with the exception of guy at the bar, were unfriendly. The worse was a lady, talking to us as we were her enemies ! unpleasant, no eye contact, no courtesy, clearly bored. I suggest the owners to get more staff, or remind their personal a few basic rules. Courtesy, politeness, that's it. In all this I clearly did not enjoy the food that much. It was good but really small. So just pass by and try something else. It is not worth the price for...

We were recommended to try Brisa by friends. We had reservations and asked if we could sit by the windows so we could people watch and check out the sights. We were told no, and we're say at a corner table with a view of the wait staff. 4 window table seats stayed empty for the entirety of our dinner. Our order was taken by a server who appeared to want to be anywhere but there. Drinks took approx. 20 minutes to get to our table (restaurant was 3/4 full).I was then told one of our dishes couldn't be deemed because they ran out of food. No problem, I ordered another dish. Our main course came out quickly and, for the most part, was good, though my wife's salmon was undercooked. We had ordered an app, but that never made it to the table. This was a very disappointing experience. We were cordial the whole time, but I felt like the matured and the server did not want us there from the get-go. American bias???? I don't know.

Brisa Restaurant is conveniently situated along the picturesque backdrop of Barcelona's bustling port area. This charming establishment offers a warm and inviting ambiance, enhanced by a delightful selection of background music, setting the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The hallmark of Brisa Restaurant undoubtedly lies in its impeccable service, ensuring that patrons feel well-attended to throughout their visit. The culinary offerings here are equally impressive, with a menu featuring expertly prepared dishes that not only satisfy the palate but also exemplify the culinary prowess of the kitchen. Our visit to Brisa Restaurant, which happened to fall on a typical Wednesday in Barcelona, was nothing short of delightful. From the cozy atmosphere to the delectable cuisine, it was a truly enjoyable lunch that left a lasting impression.
