The overall experience was ok. The performances were reasonable and the food edible. I hadn’t had super high expectations and was there more for the company so didn’t mind if things weren’t perfect, there was buen rollo so I was happy.
However, myself and a friend were groped by one of the Queens during the performance.
I’ve been to a few Drag shows in the past and usually the Queens verbally roast you, or flirt a bit…maybe ask YOU to touch THEM, which gives you the power to say no.
But this Queen walked behind me and grabbed my breast, and then proceeded to squeeze it multiple times before doing the same to my friend. Both of us were too taken aback to really react, and then everyone was laughing so we didn’t want to make a scene, but honestly I think it was really inappropriate.
I understand that Drag can be crude, but I’ve never experienced anything like that before. As a straight woman, I usually feel very safe in LGBTQ+ spaces, but this experience was a little disconcerting.
I feel its necessary to speak up, as someone with a history of SA could get very triggered by something like this and might want to take it into consideration before making a booking.
I’m sure it was just intended as a joke, but the performers really ought to know better than to touch their audience inappropriately...
Read moreI paid upfront as per their instruction for a dinner show which was 340 Euro in total. When Spain went into lockdown and the restaurant closed I emailed the vendor to ask them for a refund or the option of moving to another time after the pandemic. They didn't respond but I gave them the benefit of the doubt that as they were closed they were not responding to emails at the moment. That was back in March and we are now in October, multiple attempts to contact them to no avail. When you try and contact them on their website they have uploaded a picture of somebody giving the finger instead. I resorted to filing a claim through my credit card company, only to find that they attempted to recall their original confirmation email, but they were not successful as I had already opened the email and responded saying thank you. This restaurant are not only ignoring my attempts to get my money back, but also have going out of their way to deceive and cheat their way into keeping my money. Do not trust this restaurant and do not pay them any...
Read moreThe one thing I did appreciate was the hospitable man at the entrance.
That said, the whole experience was mediocre at best: Drag: not noteworthy Venue: dreadful decoration and atmosphere Sound: too loud, impossible to have a conversation. Staff: seemed to be under a lot of pressure, no real interaction or hospitality took place Food: Okay. Portions seemed tailored to anorexic people, very problematic given the prevalence of eating disorders within the lgbt+ community. Starter and main course providing merely 400 k calories? Then at least put bread and olive oil on the table. Language: all Spanish, even the songs. I understand that Spanish people want to be in a Spanish atmosphere. But then do have the decency to tell non-Spanish...
