Usually, I’m not proud of Indian restaurants in Europe. However, I can proudly admit that this has changed when I visited The Chilli. It is not just a restaurant serving authentic North Indian food, but also sharing the hospitality experience and the Indian culture. Food: Outstanding. Amazing taste, generous serving portions, fresh products and original paneer. All dishes are great, but Dal Bukhara is not to miss. The chef is well trained Delhi guy and with his team doing a real justice of deserving 5 star food quality. Service: It’s a backbone of any restaurant. I must admit, I felt special when I was there and the team took a great care of us. I can assure you that I saw the same feeling at each table. Goldy, a personality you’ll never forget, make sure that everyone gets equal and class one attention and service as required. The team takes care of special requests and allergies into account. Their moto is just to feed good Indian food to their guests is inspiring. Ambience: If you’ve visited Europe, you can vouch that all Indian restaurants have typical ambience of wooden work, Taj Mahal, kings portraits etc. They don’t have enough capacity as European ones. This was not the case with Chilli. Amazing green plant based ambience with nice furniture and good quality cutlery at par with European standards. Great hygiene & cleanliness. Might require some work with washroom, but with a capacity of 250 guests, I think that’s a bit understandable. Owner: The owner Raj, naam to suna hi hoga 😉, is friendly and a person with vision. He is proudly making sure of quality in each and every step of the process in serving the greatness of Indian Food & Hospitality. Overall: Must visit and share the proudness & taste of Good Indian food with your family & friends. All the best ‘The Chilli 🌶️’ team 😇

I stumbled upon Chilli Restaurant - Cuina India while walking down the high street, and what a fantastic find it was! From the outside, it may seem small, but once inside, the space is surprisingly large, with a great atmosphere and warm ambience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The service was top-notch—our host greeted us promptly, and we were seated without delay. We ordered a selection of starters, mains, and drinks, and I must say, the food was exceptional! The flavours were authentic and true to classic Desi cuisine, something that can be hard to find outside of South Asia. Every dish was packed with rich, traditional spices, cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The only minor downside was the masala tea—it was served lukewarm (around 45°C instead of the ideal 85°C). However, I noticed this trend across several cafés in Barcelona, so it seems to be a common preference there. Overall, Chilli Restaurant - Cuina India is a must-visit if you’re in Barcelona and craving real Indian food. The experience was amazing, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic flavours with excellent service!

A Memorable Experience at Chilli A Culinary Journey Through India

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chilli, an Indian culinary gem that left an indelible impression on my taste buds. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance that set the stage for an extraordinary dining experience.

The culinary journey began with a diverse array of flavors and aromas that transported me straight to the streets of India. Each dish was a masterpiece, boasting authentic ingredients and expertly crafted spices. The menu catered to a wide range of preferences, from mild and aromatic to fiery and bold, ensuring there was something for every palate.

Among the highlights of my visit was the impeccable service provided by the restaurant's attentive staff, especially our server, Sam. From the start, Sam's enthusiasm for the cuisine was evident as he guided us through the menu, offering insightful recommendations that perfectly complemented our preferences. His deep knowledge of the dishes and their regional origins added a unique touch to the overall experience.

Throughout the meal, Sam's attentiveness never wavered, making sure we were comfortable and satisfied at every step. He effortlessly juggled multiple tables with grace and a genuine smile, making us feel like valued guests rather than mere customers. His passion for the culinary arts and dedication to providing exceptional service truly elevated our dining experience.

As for the food itself, each dish was a culinary masterpiece that showcased the rich and diverse flavors of India. From the tender and aromatic Butter Chicken to the delectable Vegetable Biryani, every bite was a delightful revelation. The presentation of each dish was also noteworthy, adding to the visual appeal of the overall experience.

In conclusion, Chilli is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of India's vibrant cuisine. The combination of delectable flavors, warm hospitality, and the exceptional service of waiter Sam made this dining experience one that I will cherish and recommend to friends and family.

A special thank you to Sam and the entire team at Chilli for an unforgettable dining adventure. I eagerly await my next visit to savor more of the culinary delights that this remarkable establishment...

Indulging in a culinary adventure at one of Barcelona's premier Indian restaurants was an experience that left me utterly amazed. Tucked away amidst the bustling streets, this place is an oasis for those seeking authentic Indian flavors.

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the tantalizing aroma of spices that transported me straight to the streets of India. As a connoisseur of Indian cuisine, I was intrigued by their promise of fiery flavors, and they certainly did not disappoint.

The star of the show was undoubtedly their renowned Indian Chilli dishes. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that set my taste buds dancing. The perfect balance of heat and spices in their dishes showcased their culinary mastery. From the first bite to the last, I was captivated by the complexity and depth of each dish, leaving me craving for more.

However, what truly made this dining experience unforgettable was the exceptional service provided by Sam, our attentive server. With a genuine passion for the cuisine and an extensive knowledge of the menu, Sam guided us through a culinary journey that was both exciting and satisfying. His recommendations were spot-on, and his warm demeanor added an extra layer of comfort to the entire experience.

Sam's attention to detail and personalized service undoubtedly elevated our evening to new heights. His seamless coordination of each course ensured that we savored the meal at its finest. It's not an exaggeration to say that his contribution transformed an already outstanding meal into one of the best dining experiences I've had in Barcelona.

Leaving the restaurant with a contented palate and a sense of satisfaction, I am already eagerly looking forward to my next trip to Barcelona. This Indian Chilli haven, coupled with Sam's impeccable service, has etched a place in my heart. Without a doubt, this will be a must-visit destination every time I find myself in this...

Chilli Restaurant Barcelona: A Disappointing Experience

I recently visited Chilli Restaurant in Barcelona with high hopes, given its promising menu and vibrant ambiance. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant, primarily due to the shockingly rude behavior of the staff.

From the moment we entered, the staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming. Instead of a warm greeting, we were met with impatience and dismissive attitudes. Our server acted as if we were an inconvenience.

Throughout the meal, any requests we made—whether for water refills, additional cutlery, or clarification on the menu—were met with eye-rolls and sighs. It was clear that customer service was not a priority here. The atmosphere was tense, and it was difficult to enjoy our meal with such unprofessional and unfriendly service.

Moreover, when we politely pointed out a mistake in our order, the response was defensive and unapologetic. Instead of rectifying the issue, the staff member argued with us, making the situation even more uncomfortable. It felt as though we were being blamed for their error.

To make matters worse, the attitude of the staff seemed to affect the overall dining environment. Other diners appeared equally dissatisfied, and there was a palpable sense of frustration in the air.

While the food at Chilli Restaurant was decent, it was overshadowed by the poor service. Good food can never fully compensate for bad customer service, and unfortunately, this establishment fell short on both fronts.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Chilli Restaurant in Barcelona to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. The rude behavior of the staff completely ruined what could have been an enjoyable meal. There are plenty of other restaurants in the city where you can find delicious food paired with respectful and courteous service. Skip Chilli Restaurant and choose a place that values its...
