First time to Barcelona and this restaurant. Made reservations off Google maps. Simple. Upon arriving, the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was romantic. We were seated quickly, and our waiter was attentive. The waiter answered a few of our questions, and my wife and I ordered the carbonara.
We were served our food quickly after ordering.
The food tasted fresh, and in its own right is probably amazing for some palets. My wife and I didn't like it, we didn't finish half of the pasta. Again, I am pretty sure it was our palet for that specific prepared dish.
We asked for the check and went to the counter to pay with the credit card on the counter. The waiter asked if we liked the food. We told him we were not used to how that carbonara was prepared, and we didn't like it. He told us not to pay and have a nice night.

Read moreWe reserved a table here a week ago through Google Maps, but when we arrived, it turned out our table was outside on the terrace. There was no way to choose or even know if the table would be indoors or outdoors when booking, which was really frustrating. Other restaurants usually make this clear, but not here.
What made it worse was that no one even offered to move us inside, even though the restaurant was half-empty. They just said all the indoor tables were reserved. It was only 15°C outside, so we were freezing! Honestly, it ruined the evening for us. We quickly had a cup of coffee and left because it was just too cold to stay.
If you’re planning to book a table here, I’d recommend calling them to confirm whether you’ll be seated indoors or outdoors, since there’s no way to choose when...
