Oh my god.
Plus eye roll after tasting these Italian ( Sardinian to be more precise) dishes
👏Violet Eggplant Ravioli( violet ravioli stuffed with fried eggplant, parmesan ,dried tomatoes, sweet onions, fresh basil served with mozarella burrata, confit cherry tomatoes, parmesan and basil)
👏Pears and Gorgonzola Pink Ravioli ( filled with ricotta, Pecorino cheese, walnuts and a touch of beet. With melted gorgonzola, cheese cream, pears and walnuts)
👏Spaghetti with prawns, shrimp smoke, grated bottarga ( typical Sardinian speciality lanissa eggs) , black pepper , parsley.
All of the above 5/5 and we want to taste many more. All their pasta is freshly made and you can feel the difference. Soft but chewy. It is di-vine.
Add to that the very cozy atmosphere with elegant decor and warm ambience lighting in a quiet neighborhood.
Wait! There's more! The service is tiptop, the waiters very friendly ( who speak Spanish with a charming Italian lilt) and prices are reasonable.
What more can you ask for?
We were the first to arrive but it quickly filled up and some were turned away... So you need to reserve.
My family and I are definitely going back.
PS: my photos do not do justice to the food. Because of the warm ambient lighting, my photos had a yellowish tint even after trying to adjust...
Read moreI’ve decided to edit my 5 star review (still below for you to see). My partner (pregnant) and I decided to come back. This time the experience has been completely different however. She became ill just before we were supposed to go. I arrived alone. I’m not sure if it was because of that or because I tried to explain in English but the service was terrible. The waiter was rude. I managed to order some wine. Two sets of guests that arrived after me was served first. I left without ordering a starter 50 minutes after arriving, leaving 3 euros 40 (all the small change I had) for the 4 euro glass of wine I had. The waiter ran after me shouting, calling me a “puta”. I went back in and paid the full amount and thanked them for their great service. The waiter again came outside and shouted at me for not speaking Catalan. Moral of the story is I’m sure the food is amazing. But make sure you don’t upset the waiter.
This restaurant is much better than the ratings on here would have. I had ravioli with pumpkin and mustard, my partner ravioli with potato, mint, tomato and pecorino. Delicious. Best place we’ve eaten in...
Read moreWe searched out this place as it was strongly recommend by a local bar tender at another location. He was Sicilian and said if we wanted some great local seafood, fresh made pasta and amazing (normal for Sicilian) culinary experience, go here. So we did and we did have an awesome meal. The broth and the noodles were fantastic . The chefs are expert in providing an immediate and delicious dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and cute. While the entire restaurant is in a small space, there was still room for our table to be able to hear each other without feeling crowded from the next table. We were both very happy to experience this. Be sure to sure plan ahead during peak hours. Also, listen to the chef / owner. We wanted to take some home to our family back at the apartment, and the chef was very concerned with how the food would taste after getting home. After letting him know that we were fine with however it arrived, they agreed to package up our dinner and an extra plate, to go. I guess take outs not typical for them and that's totally fine with me. Definitely want to head back there when were...
