This place was very good value and had good food. You get what you pay for so don't expect any fancy gourmet Chinese food but nevertheless the flavour was nice. The standout was the fried rice, it was very tasty and paired well with the sweet and sour. We also liked the Chinese bread a lot, it was fluffy whilst having a crispy outside and subtle sweet flavour.
The service was very good. We visited at around 8:30pm on a Saturday so it was pretty empty, as many people eat later. When we left the place started to fill up.
The place has gone through some renovations over the years and was very clean. Some light music was playing in the background which was nice, quiet enough that it didn't impact any conversations but adds to the atmosphere.
We spent around 24 euroes per person but we ordered a lot, you could easily get a nice full meal for 10 per person.
We had:
The Chinese salad. 4/5 The Chinese bread. 5/5 Crispy wontons. 3/5 (were good but lacked filling)
Special fried rice. 5/5 Chicken Noodles. 4/5 Sweet and sour pork. 4/5 Lemon chicken. 2/5 (the flavour was nice but unfortunately the sauce was very thin creating a soggy texture) Peking duck. 3.5/5 (A bit dry but nice duck and the hoisin sauce was a bit heavy, and it only had spring onions, if you're coming from the UK you may also...
